Amazing, the best ....never gets old. Sam Rockwell was awesome here..super funny. The whole cast worked so well together. This cast should have been brought together again. I would love to see more movies like this with different plots and storyline with this cast. Hollywood is slacking so much...
@@peterfrank3365 You think that's why Kevin Feige and Marvel hire unknown/un-proven Directors like the Russos, Scott Derickson, Peyton Reed, Anna Boyd & Ryan Fleck, Taika Waititi, etc. That's why? Because he know's their potential? Or, and hear me out now. Or does Kevin Feige only make story & character decisions and when it's time to hire talent like the Director, Producer, Writer, Cast & Crew. Those decisions are made by Bob Iger (President & CEO of Disney) & Ike Perlmutter (President & CEO of everything MARVEL, not just the films). And they decided to hire these kind of Directors because so much money is spent making these films that they want someone they can boss around and tell what to do, even when the Directors want to try something else. Think about it, you can be the biggest fan of "Arrested Development," "Community," "You, ME & Dupree," this film or anything else the Russos were apart of. Nothing stood out as something where they should be in charge of such a high budget and franchise film like they were picked for with "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." Things worked out very well in the end, but potential is not why MARVEL gave the Russos a shot...
@@whywelovefilm7079 I still think the Russo brothers are superior to all the other mcu directors. They truly are talented. Let's see how their next movie is post mcu but I think them working with the captain america writers is a recipe for success. They were originally supposed to do a Ghostbusters reboot with Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt as the leads until the all female film was greenlit instead
This movie is fun, some really nice moments, worth watching. It was Michael Jeter's last performance before he died :( And Sam Rockwell is just awesome in it in another perfect role for him.
This is a fantastic movie - I laughed & I laughed - The Cast were amazing every one of them - Even the straight actors - Setting the scenes up were spot on ! I think it's based on a French Movie ! - Well well worth a watch ?
So I watched the film today and it was hilarious, but then I found out it was a remake of an Italian comedy called Big Deal on Madonna Street and that one was far funnier than even this.
Exactly because at the end homie says... I don't think we should see each other anymore.. and then they all decide to give up their cut of the cookie jar.. as he's getting on the bus you can tell he lost his anger his wife is coming home, they can still be friends. And the black guy says if you ever come up on another deal like this give me a call... every time I see this movie I want more, like why is there not a part 2
Underrated comedy. What's more, many have never heard of it.
It bombed at the UK & USA box office in 2003. Budget was 10 million and it made 4 million at box office
I love this movie
I've always thought that. I read about it before it was released & the cast alone sold it to me. I think it's brilliant.
one of the best comedy I've ever seen rip Michael jeter
I remember watching them film this in my childhood neighborhood. E. 55th and broadway ave. Cleveland Ohio. I was probably 15 years old ❤
