yeah Clive has such an incredible distinctive brillant voice.. all of his three albums still belong to my most favorite music.... such a pity how the industry "killed" such talent... he was the only duet partner who matched her strong voice by his manly emotional voice... ha... sorry i got carried away.... hope he's lucky after all.

My favorite rendition of this song, ever. I particularly liked the way her co-vocalist Clive Griffen never tries to "get in the way" of Celine, to whom this song belongs. He's just there to support her and do his part, while never attempting to hog the spotlight. I find this quality admirable and the height of professionalism.

I remember watching this live. I thought then that her stylist had missed the mark and still do. The hair, the dress, and makeup make her look like a 50 year old. Flawless performance by both however.
just came about the wiki page for When I Fall In Love as it has just been released by Michael Bublé. It says that the duet was intented to be sung with Stevie Wonder but when she heard the demo she wanted to do it with the demo singer Warren Wiebe.... yep.. but she obviously did not. So anybody know how this duet came about and Celine was in favour of Sony choosing the promising Clive Griffin being pushed ?
Exacto. Read the same thing and I can't find ANYTHING on how the other two were bypassed for Clive. Who's great but you figure Celine could wield more power, though here she appears to at least be nice to him haha.

He seemed very unconfortable... He was a newcomer, right? He was vocally perfect though. Almost like the recording. Great singer. Comparing to, for example, Peabo with her a year or two prior, Peobo was already a household name, so he semeed very confortable at the Oscar with her, with his body language. But that's my only point really. He sounded amazing.

It's an incredible shame that we have to listen to such crappy songs/male singers when there is a voice like his being wasted. The only logical conclusion is he's being blackballed by the music industry for some reason, just like they killed off Disco.
