    jean amherd 18/11/18 Rapsody in Blues avec le Romanian Bass de Gerswind est certainement le top des enregistrements de ce thème de jazz interprété à la trompette par Sergy Nakariakov, un des maîtres incontesté. C'est féérique, aérien, d'une finesse où le virtuose fait de cette oeuvre, un moment inoubliable. Bravo aussi au Romanian Bass et son chef, qui ont permis de réaliser ce chef d'oeuvre.
    Merci à UA-cam bien sûr, de le mettre encore e.xergue

      With the exception of the late Pete Fountain, clarinetists "play to the ground" also. Let's throw in oboe and English horn player, too. When a soloist plays as well as this one, they may play however they wish. But, you're correct, it's a little unsettling at first glance.

    • @Maou3
      @Maou3 4 роки тому +2

      @@harryepstein7499 yeah but no
      If you look at the video he doesn't actually slur the scale
      It's a lip bend on half valve, not a half valve slurred scale
      I've seen no other arrangement where this is done (usually it's just a fast scale), and it's damn impressive

    • @harryepstein7499
      @harryepstein7499 4 роки тому

      Oof really? That’s how I play it, that’s how every trumpet recording I’ve ever heard does it. Sergei, dokshizer, Brandon ridenour, all of them. You just put all three valves down a bit less than halfway and lip up as if you were lip slurring up through the partials.

  • @LicunaCarhen
    @LicunaCarhen 11 років тому

    the conductor is not conducting,he's not leading the orchestra,but the orchestra controlls him..if you watch his gesture carefully you'll see that he's waiting for the sound to produce and then he moves his hands also.

    • @rgetso
      @rgetso 5 років тому

      Agreed! The conductor seemed unprepared for transitions but the soloist and ensemble adjusted well as the performance progressed. The conductor seemed more of a hindrance initially.

    A nice job, but I prefer Dokshizer. This guy is good, but pales in comparison to Dokshizer.

    • @trainliker100
      @trainliker100 4 роки тому

      In general, I agree. But I'm not sure there has been another trumpet player ever recorded with technique as good as Nakariakov. But music takes more than that and Dokshizer's performance of this seems to have far more musicality. Much of Nakariakov's playing on many different pieces strikes me as a bit machine-like. But as the years roll on, he is more and more developing interpretation rather than merely a perfect mechanical playing of the notes as written. I think for many prodigies this is the case. They have the technique very early, but just haven't lived enough life yet to add the feeling.

      Вы неправы! Тимофея Докшицера я слушал вживую в 1978году. Спору нет, отличный был трубач. Даже немецкий дирижёр Курт Мазур сказал о нём: ,,Это вершина мастерства!" Но и игра Сергея мне тоже нравится, и не вижу причин как-то принижать этого трубача. Тем более, вы, наверное, знаете, что на произведениях Гершвина - сам чёрт ногу сломает: настолько они техничны и широкодиапазонны. В истории два таких чокнутых композитора: Паганини и Гершвин. И творчество обоих я люблю! Удачи вам!
