I think it's decent. Shell velocity is amazing and flat and you have a choice between IFHE for more consistent damage or maxing out fire starting at the risk of more non pens. Concealment at 8.8 is amazing and you get to stealth Torp. Smoke fire penalty is lower than usual for a cruiser. Tie up with your local DD to hunt enemies; I've found it great when you pick your targets well.
@@samarthraizada IFHE on 130mm guns is wasted points. The only thing it lets you do is pen the bow/stern of T8+ cruisers, what tends to be smaller targets than just going for the superstructure, and you go from roughly 14 potential fires per minute, to 7 potential fires per minute. You actually lose some damage when you do that. The main issue for Dalian, is that it doesn't do anything that Sejong can't do better, and it's not a huge upgrade over it's tech tree counterpart of Harbin. Seeing as if you range mod Dalian it will slightly out range Harbin but with effectively the same DPM, and if you don't range mod Dalian you get a small DPM boost over Harbin but you then have shorter range. While having worse torpedoes on Dalian and lacking the torp reload booster that the tech tree ships get. Not saying you can't still do well in Dalian, but she's just not as good as the tech tree ships.
@Stephen__White if they improved the torp range or gun dpm then I'd like the ship. But right now the torps are too few and they don't do much damage and have little range. The guns are good except for the dpm. Reload is way too long. Should be 3.5 or 3.2 base.
@@yeeterooni7352 Yeah I bought that ship bc I wanted a good prem panasian ship but Dalian is kinda trash. I haven't played it in 1.5 years. Just way too hard for little game impact. Quite honestly, I almost find the elbing more effective at killing DD's than I do the regolo. Where I find the regolo really shines is going after cruisers because it hits them so hard.
Regolo is an ambush boat. If you are screaming forward in open space thinking your smoke will save you: 1) smoke doesnt last that long 2) there will almost always be a radar/sub on your flank Island hopping is the way to go. Take potshots between islands and then disappear. Smoke is strictly for disappearing from an unfavorable engagement or jumping around between 2 islands that are far away. The game recommends a secondaries build, but Odin doesn't have the HP to make it viable. I use a tank build and it works much better. The Italian dds are my favorite. You do your damage while firing from your smoke. So save your smoke for setups when you can fight from 8-9 km with a fellow ship doing the spotting. Use the speed boost to get out when your smoke is about to expire. They are not really gunboats. The secret is using the smoke properly. Oddly enough, they can YOLO as well. You just have to pick your moments. And, I play the lower tiers without range and use dazzle. Ambush, use your smoke and SAP to beat up another ship and then just quickly fade out of range and you are dark. Tier 8 and above-go for range. If you take the time to learn to play them, they are some of the best dds in the game. I am a very average player but do very well in the Italian boats. The torps are slow and weak but stealthy. I play this line a lot. The short gun range is an asset, not a liability, as it allows hit and run tactics especially useful for hunting DDs with it's high alpha guns. Regolo is one of the weaker of the line because of its longer gun range, which means you stay spotted longer.

Secondary Warspite!
Attempt number 2 of requesting Constellation.
I thought he just did ome in the past year.
almate grau - with special play 66% reload boost
Where the H... what the Kita going???? He looked like he was looking for the next map over. Maybe it was the MM at T9 was better, but I just ended up to significantly better in the Adriatico as compared to the Regolo.
One day, if I try hard enough, I'll get to see someone forced to play max secondary range Sevastopol.
Unless I'm misremembering or something has changed it manages to be a 12.5km secondary cruiser at full build.
Request: Roon
BTW the Regolo line is the DD line i dislike most.
Let's do Le fantasque. The more I play it, the more I think it's the most well-rounded and carry DD at tier 8.
Until it meets a Lightning, or a Cossack, or Split. They laugh at it while they radar/hydro it from smoke and have it permaspotted
Le Fantasque is great.
@@samarthraizada True. Experienced captains know the limits of their ship so to take care of the above ships it's best not to overcommit. And one would be surprise how Le Fantasque can counterspot if positioned right.
HSF Harekaze II
Z-52!!
Hey PQ, theres a new video from yesterday by CitadelCorrectionNeeded on youtube "How to go 1000 kts" and its legit, using the Auboyneau commander in Marceau and getting ridiculous speed buffs from the "Surge Foward" talent because of being shot at by Minotaurs (div mates in a training room).
I wana see gameplay of Devastation please!
Who would like some Venezia gameplay ?
Ah the regolo, one of the best looking ships in the game imo, and one of the worst to play.
Impossible.😱
Never thought you would actually play it. Thank you very much.❤
