I wonder if I can use one of my jelly rolls for this project instead of cutting my own straps. Jen, do you think a jelly roll will work for this project? I would love to use up some of my precut fabric.
Yes, a 2.5" strip roll should work for creating pineapple blocks (I don't know how many strips you'll need) - You'll want your strips at least 1&3/4 wide prior to trimming with the Pineapple Trim Tool: www.shabbyfabrics.com/p56276/ -Michelle
I bought this kit 2 years ago and made the quilt. FANTASTIC! Loved it so much I just made a second one to be auctioned off for a nonprofit. The ruler is a total game changer.
I cannot wait to get my kit in August. I had a pineapple tools two years ago and never use it. I watch it three time this video. I will practice first on my scrap fabric. Oh how exciting. I love it. Thank you for wonderful tutoring. 😊

Beautiful block, I recently came across your original Pineapple Quilt tutorial from years ago and I immediately went out and purchased the GG trim tool and I’m having so much fun making these blocks. I never in a million year could be this accurate without that trim ruler. 😊

Hi Sil - Using an AccuQuilt die requires a whole different set of instructions than the ones we designed for this kit. Our cutting and piecing instructions will not be relevant to the die. Since we're unfamiliar with this Accuquilt die, we cannot answer this question with any confidence. -Michelle

You mentioned using sizing. What product do you like to use? Is it like a spray starch?
