I'm hoping the F3 aura reward will actually bring more players into world arena. I know many players who refuse to play rta because they either think or know they can't hold C1+ for the "good" reward. Also, I'm happy to take an extra aura for wherever I land each season :)
I mean, I think it would be a better solution to make c1 slightly bigger since f3 has become so huge. Regardless, I'm happy for the aura change. Less stress for those on the f3/c1 line
only reason f3 is so huge is because everyones rune quality down there is pretty much the same. so everyone is just getting beat up and back down again to the point where f3 becomes that big
Is it normal now that f3 rta in europe goes from 1200 to 1600 points its very unbalanced so we f3 ppl should get atleast one aura that fair enough

Free auras in F3 will just invite more people to afk farm and auto in RTA.

I think this best for the f3 people, especially since I know how horrible matchmaking is there for the last 12 seasons 😂 I reached C1 this season and I was literally happy for my guildies so they can enjoy this seasons aura too
THIS. I'm between c2 and 3 now, but I'm legitimately *happy* the borderline f3-c1 players this season won't have to go through that end of season bullshit frustration the rest of us did.
I feel like it's a mix between the kinds players who like to see the newbies have things easier/more enjoyable than we did (the changes we wanted ourselves) and those who get jealous of it.
Seeing c1 climb so high this season is so painful. I'm at 1688 right now and not even c1 anymore. I'm happy that f3 gets the seasonal aura now.
as a f3 in rta I think I deserve the aura , not because i'm strong or whatever ; just because i get farmed everytime by sh*tty guardian players who can't keep their guardian or conqueror title and it makes me lose my patience ( they can't say it's false , Wings with lightnings can only be obtained by guardian players )

Just a reminder.... everyone who is c1 right now has gone through what you’re going through now, and has OVERCOME all the bots and guardian farmers. THEY are FAR MORE deserving of a reward.
Fighter 3 goes from 1200 to 1700 even. You play every day, every wing, and still be in f3 because it's just too broad, feels like a wasteland with no reward. Thank God they're giving us the aura reward, at least we can feel a little bit of gratification.

People are arguing about F3 free transmog, because they are still thinking that this game is based on skill XD
I tell you why you are not entirely right, there is a level of skill in the pick ban phase, knowledge of the game and what the units do and what to counter them with can be considered skill. Then during the match itself you make good decisions in your attacking order can also be called skill. Obviously there is the RNG factor and that would be your monkey wrench, so the winner might not be the player that always makes the best decision but you can bet his average win rate will be exponentially higher than the player who relies on luck or even in units with RNG factor like Verde, etc.. As for the free transmog, who the hell cares lol.
@@elitist3447 I totally agree with all you have said, but there is too much RNG with dropping runes or upgrading them that I don't find any sense of laughing at somebody, because he has crappy runes. But I don't find it annoying, it's always getting you hyped if you somehow get quad roll in SPD and that's what makes you want to play even more of this game.
Hey now, better skills (in real life) gets you a better job which gives you a more versatile visa. So, in a round about way, it is skill based lol

I tried RTA once a long time ago and my first match had 2 LD5s and that was the last time I played rta. This aura won't give me an incentive to go through that cancer again.

@@RayBros usually those people have dogshit runes tho, if you have a good team strat and decent runes yourself u shld be able to beat them easily, ld or not. of course this will be a bit different in the higher ranks, but honestly at low ranks runes>monsters imo.

@@owoe_flower I agree there might be some of them who have bad rune quality but from what I've seen it's not common. RTA is much more than rune + monster quality it's also a lot of skill involved (plus rng) and when you're new to rta and most of the people you're going to fight in the beginning are these farmers with good runes and even better monsters it's just a drain to your motivation to even bother with that aspect of the game.
in F3 i fight more people with c1+ wings than without... I feel like that should be a bigger talking point
A lot of those people are those who aren't as addicted as they once were. I've ran into ex-guardian players who had fighter runes, the requirements for consistent c1+ is mile away higher than it was even a year ago
They're making it so you can get all the old conquerer and up skins and auras even more frequently nowadays through the regular old RTA shop. Why does it matter if f3 gets it now too? Who cares? If you're playing this game and getting mad over more people being able to enjoy the cool auras your need to reevaluate your priorities.

As a F3 player with about 1500-1600 points i really dont like what they did. That aura was the thing that pushed me every day to do rta. When it was in C1 it was kinda exclusive, and people like to have exclusive things. Now it became common, and everyone can have it, so there is no reason to go through that rta pain every day.
Best way they can do this f3 uproar would be the f3 gets last seasons aura.
I'm C3 and I think that Fighter 3 deserves at least this. Hell, Fighter 3 can be an absolute nightmare and let's not pretend that we haven't seen guardian players farming it. If you want to change the aura to C1 that's fine, as long as you fix the septic tank that is Fighter 3 first.

Actually motivated me to do that many more matches to get the aura from F3. Else I wouldn't have push the extra bit because I'm still new and I get rekt 5 times out of 6. Because my best set have 100 speed and I'm out speed by all the opponent units all the time.
F3 has players from 1200~1650+, a lot of people play, much then you think because it encompasses every server. Does the rewards matter that much? Not really because it's a cosmetic, not even a skin so you don't really get much and it's 1 not 8 or 9, barely anything really.
That said I'm a casual player so I could be better, but to break into c1 you need good nat5 and runes that are 250+ spd vio and near 300 spd swift. Unless I'm just unlucky and get monsters every game, but as someone who doesn't have 9 spd leads and every meta unit it's pretty hard to do anything.

To be honest as someone who doesn't really enjoy playing rta, the only reason I bothered reaching c1 in the previous seasons was for the aura. And now I won't have to do that anymore, same rewards with less dedication it's amazing

I didn't play this season. Got c1 last season. Pushed a little at the beginning of the season, and decayed down to 1215 come yesterday. I thought I'd use these next few days to get my c1 again but if it's actually 1700 then fuk that

F3 players also deserve wings man! RTA is rough, as a F3 player myself I keep getting matched vs C1 players with +1700pts very often. I still win some of this fights but not enough to reach C1. If the game decides you are good enough to keep fighting +C1 players then you should be good enough to be able to purchase wings too.
I dunno about that... That's like saying the losing team in the Super Bowl should also get the trophy and rings since they played against the winning team.

C1 is now 1690! That’s 100 points higher than I finished last season at like 7%. Crazy season. We need this to boost player count in rta.
the fact that the aura is available for fighters means that more people will do placements to get an aura and rank inflation in rta will be mitigated. Why is nobody talking about that? c3 in rta right now is like 1845... and I think c1 is around 1625. rta farmers will still be a problem, but overall more people will be able to get conq rta.

In addition to what you said about the aura being a proof of accomplishment (well, "accomplishment" in a mobile game...is it something at all?), I think people are mad because there are so many better approaches. Just a few here:
1) Extend the 10% limit, which is not adapted anymore to the playerbase, to maybe 20-30%;
2) Tie a part of the rewards to "highest rank reached in season" instead of "rank at the end"
3) release different versions that are more or less shiny for Fighter, Conqueror and Guardian (it's a 1 or 2 numbers adjustment in rendering, it takes no more data storage).
Honestly, this is such a great motivation for casual player like me who is afraid to try rta

The 2v2 Rta is actually REALLY fun if you do it with a guildie.
I mean I've been stuck just under C1 for a while, but I didn't have a problem grinding for more basic auras like gladiator's wrath or the seasonal ones that costs 1250 trophies. The thing they should actually fix is F3 players getting matched into C1 and C2 players, matchmaking skill gap is too large around half the time.
To encourage everyone to play the RTA and at least have some reward even in fighter. Why not? They should even extend the transmog to Conq, not just Guardian.
I still think skins should be guardian only though. Some things being exclusive to guardian rank is fine.
Skins in Guardian is fine but aura in f3 is good. I know a lot of people who just can’t be afsked to do rta because og the Big jump. 1200 and 1600-1700 is the same rank. Like wtf?
I took a 2 year break from the game and returned last week.
When I saw that f3 gets auras aswell my jaw dropped. It's only cosmetic but I am so extremely happy about that!

As someone who is stuck in F3 I appreciate the little bit of extra. It honestly took me a bit to get my runes right to be sure I was consistently F3. Now I want to climb to the C2/3 rank to have multiple of that aura.

As a g2 player I can see both sides of this argument. At my stage of the gane I could care less about f3 players getting more rewards. On the other hand, I still remember not so long ago fighting for my first c1 and the huge sense of accomplishment that I got from achieving it. I don't think that anyone cares about them giving out the aura, it's more so that it diminishes the sense of accomplishment from securing your first gold star. Either way I'm just happy to see them trying to get more players to do their wings because that's better for the game and better for all of us ultimately.
I do RTA exclusively to try for the aura. I know I won't get g1/stay g1 for the transmogs. But seeing the floor of c1 reach where higher ranks ended in previous seasons is painful.

For the RTA Rewards: I think it is a great Idea to get F3 some nice stuff aswell! I am stuck there since this season and dont get me wrong I still like to play RTA and I dont mind being there but the ''bracket'' in F3 is HUUUGE! So it is very very hard to get to C1. I think RTA will get even more people now and make F3 less of a hell to be in with people auto farming you. P.s. Ty for the video and your thoughts on it Sean

This was a great update to people like me that can reach C1, but can't end C1. I always liked the auras since when it was introduced to the game and for fucking 17 seasons I couldn't get even 1. I am very happy and hyped. Now I have a deal to do RTA.
would be cool if com2us could make another aura reward that changes every season for fighter, kinda like the c1 and up aura rewards but fighter version. that way we get even more stuff and maybe people wont complain as much, seems like a win-win to me.

I think the real issue with fighter players getting auras is that the rewards are so bad right now that taking away the only thing that differentiates and motivates some people to play RTA, makes people angry. Those people are not really angry against F3 players but more so against C2US. If everybody get "the same" (I know higher ranked players get more) rewards, why bother grinding RTA for 2 months.

Yo sean it has been 6 days since this update up, and I dont play rta since then and now I am still at the same rank as before precisely at 4% usually it must be at 4,5% or more, so this update really affecting ppl to play rta
What I hope for the future is RTA rewards will be given by the number of wings used and not anymore by the rank. I love RTA but I hate this competition which is rewarded by the money holder and not by the effort. I only do RTA in rooms, and one real RTA wings per week. Yes there are bots that will take advantage of it, but it's better than honest players stop playing.
Ex of the reward system I would like: aura x1 = 200wings -> x2 = 400w .... -> skinx3 + aurax3 =1200w
Personally my motivation to do RTA has nothing to do with the rewards, but it makes me very sad that my Anavel will never have the only skin I want. I'm so afraid of losing my rank for the rewards that I only do it in noob-room, I really hope that one day I could redo my 30 RTA wings every day without this unhealthy stress.
I like it when sean said that the rewards are only good for the first two weeks. I've been there my self trying hard to rank c1 till tally and I'm pretty happy to got my first aura, After playing For 3yrs. But after weeks of playing, rta rewards doesn't mean a thing anymore. I've found out that the only thing that keeps me playing rta is the eager to rank up while enjoying the game.
Rta aura is great. I push to 1760 3 week before rta end because i don’t want to play when it close to the end. Now i can just farm every day for more point and get rta skin.
Imma just say this rn, and it will piss a lot of people, but those who complain about F3 players getting aura they don’t deserves and those who agreed with them are pretty much boomers who said newer generation don’t deserve good stuff cause they had to struggle for the same thing in the past.
After the video bagel came out with on rta it makes sense to bring the reward to f3 considering f3 is like 50%esh of the rta player base

It was kinda sad, couse when i was (more) weak in game, stuck in f3, i was dreaming with the day that finally i could use the wings or season aura, so basically was a main motivataion of honor
I think the auras were way to exclusive in the first place. I loved the auras esp the wings etc but wasnt good enough to get them i feel like only having the top 10% get them was a mistake in the first place. Also u have guardian and conq exclusive auras anyways. So why not give the fighter player the seasonal aura?
Aura for f3 is good imo! I'm a mid level c3 rta player and I think giving people more reason to just do placements and a couple matches here and there is a great thing. F3 is filled with junk, and then we have a few players actually playing. Give them a damn aura for that bs. I can understand why c1+ may be upset though, the aura feels like it's not "worth" as much. A lot of people may not care about the aura that much, but then again a lot of people do rta specifically for it. I mean, I've read a lot of people saying they don't care about rta this season just because the aura looks bad.. on top of how difficult it is due to the lack of players. Maybe if com2us can add 1 more small thing for conqueror-guardian that is exclusive to these ranks, itll calm these naysayers down a bit. Something to work towards getting and pushing yourself for, if it's something you want to get. But all in all, I do believe it's a step in the right direction. It says they're also reworking the match making system and coming back with more improvements to rta for season 19. Fingers crossed for more good things for rta(and of course other content as well!) :)
As a player who finished c2 rta last season and currently likely to end c3, I think the people fussing over the f3 wings are being a bit a ridiculous. Getting my first conquerer wings felt like a huge achievement that was a pain in the butt to get. That being said however, im really happy that alot of those borderline f3-c1 won't have to go through the absurd end of season frustration i did. I'm honestly happy for them.
its true that the auras lose their value when f3 plebs can get their hands on them, but its also true that f3 league is a toxic wasteland full of farmers that keep most f3 players in f3 , my personal opinion is that each rank shoul've its own unique aura. I mean its not hard enough to do it right ? The art team is doing really great so I believe they could pull of smthn like that

No, it's not good for rta. I climbed and stayed in C1 just to get the aura, I felt satisfied but now it doesn't matter anymore. Now i don't even need to do rta to get this stuff which means that all the people who feel the same way will stay in f3 and there will be even more people in f3

Like I said, if they add in a nat 4 skin for c1+ I think that will be good. Honestly I think that they should make fighter ranks percentages as well. F1 - 50% F2- 40% F3 -30% . This makes the ranks a bit more challenging to get and less

I’m perfectly fine with this, because I’m borderline c1 which is sound 1690 and I get matched against people that are around 1200-1300 and it’s always a guaranteed win because how big the skill gap is in f3.

This is finally getting to the heart of what's wrong with summoners war. It is no longer a fun game to enjoy and progress. It is all about personal flaunting! When people are literally talking about quitting because lower level ppl get free stuff we have a major problem with our community. If they cannot change what the community has become then SW will die.
Everytime I think about returning to the game I watch any summoning session video. Best way to turn you down and give u that nice reality shock needed.

The only reason I pushed so hard to finish my first c1 was the finishing aura. The only reason I'm trying so hard to get c3 this season, even though I already have it in da book, is because I thought I would get 3x of a crap aura that atleast is going to be exclusive to the top 10% (until everyone can eventually buy it).
Give em something else. Give em a devilmon, an ld scroll, last season's aura, idgaf. Increase the incentive. I just want to feel special. Otherwise, if next season's aura is crap, you'll see me trolling/farming in F3. It's a lot more fun than fighting the same 2-3 comps over and over again where I am now.
Personally I think that the fighter 3 aura should be if you hit like 1400 points. C1 is top 10000 but needs at least 1400 points so it should be that way. If you are like mid to low 1200 I don’t think that you should get a free conqueror aura. Have a aura for fighter would be cool but it should be a minimum point requirement. That’s just my opinion.

Played rta only for the aura, and have been struggeling and farming for 2 years 2 achive this. Hit c1 for the first time this season. Now i dont need to play rta anymore :)

I got Pungbaek within two mysticals, and immediately stopped summoning. Timegates are real. (but I really wish I used an lnd instead, who knows)

Bro I just think they need to add another rank or lower the requirement for C1. The F3 bracket is HUGE. This season I think it begins at 1250 and you don’t reach C1 till 1670, at least in my experience. It’s so big that the rune/skill gap between a 1250 player and a 1650 player is almost as big as a CH1 vs an F2.
Devilmon event seems good…unless your nat 5 rates are so low you don’t have any that need skill ups…
I pray u got dream nat 5 using the transcendence piece or free one from future events and use the devilmons to ur heart contents and runed them as perfect as possible

I'm a returning player. Getting f3 is actually painful is not even rewarding it makes no sense for me to try to climb when every other fight Is just an actual g1 player. It becomes so much less fun that is not even worth for the free stuff
Its hard to get the c1 rank when the top 100 in the world where putting a huge damn points. Imagine rn, the safest c1 you could go was 1700 points.
