Kenny is the best teacher anywhere. Btw, Kenny, you have mixing course in Reaper but they're in older version. If you could make a new one I would love to buy it. Blessings to you buddy.
FINALLY. I was looking for a way to select the notes in a rectangle (with the right click) but couldn't find it ANYWHERE, despite it being such a basic action. Thanks man
When I watch one of Kenny's videos, I feel I am just that much closer to total Reaper consciousness. That's the difference between the Dalai Lama of Reaper and the average Reaper Joe. 😇
One of the (many) things I like about every Kenny video; reminds me of a Linux (or maybe it was Perl) motto's - "There's more than one way to do it". Kenny always seems to present alternative ways to accomplish a task, wherever possible. This demonstrates not only the flexibility of Reaper but also the extensive knowledge that he has and imparts.
It seems reaper is full of or, meaning if the user wanted to accomplish something they could do this, or, they could do this. I haven’t seen anything so cool in al my dawing years. I’m already a reaper lover and I haven’t downloaded it yet. 🎹♥️
Something strange going on with midi in Reaper! When I copy and paste a midi section the pasted result is not on the grid anymore (not an exact copy) and needs to be quantized to the grid again. I don't like the notes to be exactly on the grid but when I paste the notes are too far off grid to be usable. Is this a bug in Reaper or am I doing something wrong? Many thanks Kenny for all your wonderful content.
Hi,how can a I select and delete JUST the notes I select. In Cubase it is very easy to do it so,but Reaper deletes all notes in the midi, how can I do it?
Couldn't you just highlight the notes and just hit delete? I am not sure why you would need to use this method for those notes when you could of highlighted the entire bottom row and hit delete.
"Sure...I know how to delete notes but I'll watch anyway." Whoa!...4 out of 5 methods were a total eye opener!! 😮 Thanks Kenny....again!!!!
Right?!😂 SAME HERE!

Yey! What a time saver! I use to select and delete "by hand".
And here all Ive been doing is lasso'g them and deleting them lol. This really drills it down. Thanks!
I didn't know you can click drag to select notes in the velocity lane like that. Fantastic!

Another Fantastic video to add to my Tutorial collection. Thanx Kenny! You never cease to Amaze!
cool , i actually never used this before lol, I really like the video where you show us how to compress the midi velocity like for piano works nice.
Just what I needed! Thanks so much Kenny!!
Very useful video. How can we chop notes into triplets or 4 like fl studio in reaper.❤🙌
I take it you can use the filter with the Staff view as well. I prefer editing my midi notes on the staff instead of the piano roll.
Haha nice. Hasn't even been viewed. Has 10 likes. Thank you for all your videos Ken_G. They're always quality.
Thanks
I learned something new!
Thanks

Of course with that example, but not possible when notes are located throughout the octaves
@@mmc5003 , yeah i see your point.
@@tgrimes175 Yeah. I did it this way so you can visually see what I'm doing. Usually the notes are everywhere.
@@REAPERMania , yeah i see your point.
