The Black was a really good show that really needed to be drawn out more and also I think the whole Kaiju tracking thing was an exclusive thing between Boy and Apex because Apex Drifted with Boy multiple times so that may be attributed to some sort of remnant of a link that can let Apex sense Boy’s distress and general location and/or Boy used that link to call for Apex’s help since it seems those two are rather “close”

I do think that Mega Kaiju could take this one. Mainly because Apex's main advantages are movement based, and given how the Mega Kaiju dealt with Sabre Athena, who also relies on speed, with relative ease.
Edit: I haven't seen The Black yet, so I'm going purely off of info from this video. (Yes, I've seen uprising)
Well, I’ll just say this, Apex is Much MUCH Faster than Saber Athena in combat
@@darkmatternermoxI was about to make this point but legit apex is capable of a fast full sprint, with Saber Athena only being capable of a slow run, its speed revolves around it’s ability to attack faster. Basically, an organic, cyborg thing would be faster than a machine

Breacher is possibly the most underrated kaiju in the entire franchise. To start off, Atlas destroyer is one of the most durable jaegers since it shrugged off tons of attacks from other kaijus, and Breacher just completely pancaked it with little to no effort, what Breacher did to Atlas is far worse than anything Slattern did for example. And all of this while probably not even using 100% of his power
For example, he completely bulldozed a boulder of almost his same size as if it was made of paper. While Slattern did something similar, he used all of his limbs and tails to gain momentum as he did it underwater, while Breacher only had his legs to gain momentum

The Mega Kaiju is smarter than it’s given credit for. Since during its fight against Gipsy Avenger, the MK aimed its tail stab at the jaeger’s head, most likely knowing a jaeger’s com-pod is its biggest weakness, idk if that was the case or if it was just a lucky shot
But all Kaiju knew that because of the hive mind, I wouldn't really say that shows extreme intelligence

After seeing what Megakaiju did, I'd be scared for anything fighting it to get hit once. Every Jaeger fell apart like paper to its attacks.
Apex seems plenty fast and agile enough for that though, I would bet on him more often than not.

Ok that part where Apex gave Atlas Destroyer a helping hand, quite literally. Don't know why but I found that to be a bit hilarious!
I fully agree with this outcome. I can also understand the Mega Kaiju winning too as Apex isn’t the most densely built but I can be positive to say he is more well built than Saber Athena. I can still see the Mega Kaiju being able to easily tear through Apex. One concern is the use of the Mega kaiju’s quills and use of kinetic energy. Apex would be going into the battle blind as he has never seen a kaiju like the Mega before and he wouldn’t know the fact Mega can throw back the absorbed. Meaning Apex could end up getting seriously hurt or thrown back quite a bit. Also quills may be an issue or at least a distraction.
The main thing apex has going for him is battle experience.
He may is just be a nother kiju drone but he lived a lot longer than any of his kin.
But again he is just as fragile as all the other kiju Drones.
Thats why he dies from the damege done to him after reversing the kiju kid's brainwashing.
Apex could lose very quickly to the mega kiju if he gets grabbed because he lacks durability but has better speed and movement to avoid most of his slower attacks.

Something also many ppl forget is that the mega kaiju can both walk on all 6s but he can become bipedal like a human like he did with Guadian bravo which could very well prove to be an upper hand.

An interesting match up for pacific rim if you REALLY want Godzilla to be in it, is probably Godzilla Minus One, but who knows.
8:23 actually as far as I'm aware all kaiju are supposed to have two brains. it's said in the first one they have a secondary one in the butt area because of how big they are, and honestly i think the number of brains they gave mega kaiju didn't account for this and they just forgot. It doesn't add to the who would win I just think it's neat.
It does. Extra brains are needed to the body can properly coordinate such a large body. Several of these brains mean the body will be working better in unison and more effective in combat. 4 brains is better than 2
Gottlieb said that the Mega Kaiju has three secondary brains, meaning it has six. All Kaiju in the Pacific Rim universe have more than one brain.

There’s a huge weight and size difference for this fight apex would need to focus on striking quick while keeping out of megas range
And mega is hits like a TRUCK so apex is gonna struggle
But apex has iq, battle iq, speed, agility,aggressiveness, weapons.

A couple of notes and fun facts:
Note 1: All Kaiju have two brains, a main brain in their head which is usually highly shielded by their apparently crazy durable skulls, and a secondary brain lower down their body, which helps them control their gigantic bodies, as was explained in the original pacific rim. The reason why the mega Kaiju has four, is that his main brain is made of an amalgam of the 3 kaiju's main brains, and his 3 secondary brains are those from the 3 kaiju which he needs to control his gigantic body and multiple appendages.
Note 2: the mega is not necessarily weak to cutting weapons. Saber Athena's swords are just incredibly powerful (seeing as they effortlessly cut through skyscrapers like air). We know this because it was also able to grab gipsy avenger's plasma chainsaw and break it barehanded. Those chainsaws which originally came from obsidian fury were capable of cutting through gipsy avenger's chainsword 2.0, an upgraded version of gipsy danger's chainsword, and we saw what that thing could do
Fun fact 1: hakuja was also said in promotional material to have magma like blood which would melt conventional weapons that pierced it's body. This did not happen in the movie because it was only hurt by saber Athena's sword which is already superheated, so we could realistically assume that the mega Kaiju posseses this trait too.
Fun fact 2: iirc, either an early script or the official novelization mentions that the Mega slows down significantly after loosing his first brain, which means he should be quite a bit faster than what we saw in the movie, since he lost it pretty early on.
The canonicity of the fun facts is dubious, hence why they ain't notes.
Now I do think the Mega would win, mostly because he only needs to get lucky once for the battle to change completely, but that's not to say Apex wouldn't give it hell

It would be a 2d and 3d series that would he about his life before infecting the drone jagers and what he was doing before his death and before we see him in the black. i wonder since Apex has no damage whatsoever from any of his previous fights but gets torn apart by Boy that was stated by the sisters that he was the Kaiju Meshia, i dont think their lying.

I do feel like the mega could burrow sense it has the strength (and limbs) needed to dig, the only issue I could see is just how long it could take before its actually in the ground due to its size, this could actually tip the odds to be either in megakaiju favor or just a 50/50 due to megakaiju maybe able to attack apex from below him (I know apex can do the fucking /locate command), also something I noticed is that apex lacks the weapons to do large amounts of damage (haven't watched the anime apologies) due to missiles probably doing more good for mega than harm and the claws apex has can force apex to get into striking range

Not gonna lie, Saber Athena’s whole destruction isn’t a feat. The jaeger was meant to be fast and is basically like a Lamborghini, even to the damn lights and color, so they used a light or less dense metal for her. Unfortunately that could mean that if it gets hit by a kaiju like, say Leatherback, it’s gone.

They are Agile, Fast, Combines with the Monster, and the fact both Eva-001 and Apex are both 80 meters tall.
