I love the idea of Torres to Moya:
    - "It's like a beer bottle."
    - "Si, claro."

Yes, it sounds arrogant to someone who is not listening or not forward thinking. But Torres made his guitars for old technology & standards. We now have a history of guitars and know to some extent what doesn't work soundwise and what fails mechanically. Its good to have progressive luthiers. Interesting bridge idea.

Interesting what you say. La Leona was an experimental guitar according to Romanillos. Torres indeed never reproduced that design. His later 1850s and early 1860s guitars were better quality in Romanillos opinion. So I think you are right on. That bridge is exactly as I pictured it based on what I read. But again, Torres went with a saddle in later guitars exactly because you could adjust the action. I do love the sound of Torres guitars, even his later models, which supposedly didn’t have the best woods. Personally I go for the design he used for Tarrega’s guitar.
What’s the typical air resonance of a Torres guitar? Do you know? Also, does the resonance scale start on C, the lowest, and go up from there?

13:40 I think you could call the "bone things" beads as that's what the flamenco players use.

I am not familiar with the word 'tirnavas' or is it spelled turnavas? Is this spanish, as in lie down and go?
