even worse.... the ps2 ratbag world of outlaws from 02 was waaaaayy better and far more realistic with setups and basically every other aspect of the game lol
Damage model is pretty bad. But at least they focused more on gameplay, physics and sound unlike the crap-ish games known as "Tony Stewart's All American Racing" and "Tony Stewart's Sprint Car Racing"
I will never understand a racing game in the modern era of gaming not having a super sophisticated damage model like Iracing or BeamNG. Doing career and getting halfway through a race only to get a DNF is only tolerable if the physics and wrecks look awesome, you can watch a replay system that has something resembling a broadcast view, and if the damage is realistic based on the type of wreck you had. This also ties into why we need an updated version of the rivalry system that can help to create storylines that carry through a season and would make dirty driving actually have some consequences. I'd also like to see an option to turn off the ability to restart the race and in turn up the stakes a little bit like the real think. I'm thinking more from a Nascar perspective but it would be cool to see in any console racing game. That's why I love ACC so much. The damage appearance itsy the best, but the different ways your car can give out on you adds a ton of immersion.
It is the car twitches a lot and it pulls to the left way to much so tracks with long straights suck but it’s still one of the best racing games I’ve played in a long time
The lack of a damage model in 2022 is just mind boggling.
At least we finally got an okay driving model. Baby steps.
@xWORLDxCHAMPIONx that was the plan was to focus on gameplay first then visuals

All you do is bitch about this game
W vid. I remember when I raced late models on the Lucas oil circuit I got in a huge wreck and this vid reminded of it lmao.
Few good spills in there :-)
Just saying about the game, I still love it tho, it’s just the damage that bothers me so much! 😠😠
Agree
The sprint car damages are so unrealistic I just turn them off
Looks like world of outlaws 2002 still rules after all these years🏁
Played the original outlaw game for years and this one for one day and it’s definitely better then the 02 game
This person just sucks at racing.
Yeah and the graphics are way better than 02

its a close battle for what's worse of the two,
Still 2002 is better. Do us Aussies have to show the world how to make a game.
Yes, please! I’ll feed myself to a fucking croc if Ratbag made a new sprint car game.
Do it
Driving physics are so much better than that game
@@ThailandXpressdelusional, living the past
I imagine they did this so the next game in the series can advertise its new damage model as the biggest selling point.
What track was the third track

Snowflake
game seems really hard on controller on the straights
I use a wheel not a controller lol but yes it is hard I have the setting pretty hard lol

Actually set up the car, and that ‘twitch’ goes away
@@bongwater642 I’ve been learning setups and you are exactly right
@cameronmeyer8237 sprint cars are designed to pull to the left, it's because the left rear is smaller than the right rear
How does this game handle with controller? TIA
Not sure I use wheel
I like it with the controller. My fingers hurt sometimes but I don't mind using it. It works well.
@@gregcollins7277 I've been using both. Obviously the wheel is more real but times are about the same.
What kind of damage is that? Atrocious
He has no damage on
No damage when I play quick play but when I go my career I have full damage on
Well, it’s no damage so…..
I didn’t realize, but I’d the damage model good when it’s on?
Games looks worse than the original as far as the handling. To much turning left
