You cannot pinpoint exactly as to what quality of Rajini attracts his fans....but he still has it in him to keep his fans in awe....
I remember when I was a kid...i couldn't take Rajini being beaten by villians and I used to turn every minute to my mom...and ask her "when is Rajini going to beat them up"...and my mom explained patiently that he's going to get trained and come back and beat them up....

You guys should watch this movie, it still has one of the best second act in any film i ever watched.
This is a highly recommended movie for Rajni Sir. Plz watch this movie it has all movie requirements like comedy,drama,action, sadness and best of all revenge from his best friend. 2nd half is fully Rajni style and dialogues which makes this movie and Rajni sir super star. I remember i watch this movie in 1992 and after his may more than a dozen time but still my favourite movie.
The stanzas keep repeating ,so the subber showed it only once. He didn't missed anything.

Yes finally listen to me boys before I'm dead watch chaalbaaz with rajnikanth Sri Devi and above all sunny deol my favourite actor.he was in darr korbin with srk. He is the biggest hero of 90s. In Bollywood his dad dharmendra made a similar film called SITA or Gita in the 70,s. Sri Devi is great in it aswell as she plays a double role.
