Hindulotine - Rubber Guard Guillotine CHOKE OUT | Ben Eddy
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 лют 2025
- EDIT: The grip has changed, it’s no longer a reverse gable grip. Currently, it’s a modified S-grip guillotine, Ben calls it the “ok grip” (LINK BELOW)

Ben Eddy (10th Planet Oceanside) is one of Eddie Bravo's top black belt competitors. Ben earned the CJJ Featherweight title at EBI 15 after defeating Nick Honstein who was a pro-MMA fighter with a 16-9 record.
With his insane unorthodox style, Ben executed the Hindulotine at the 10th Planet Qualifiers 6, EBI 1 and CJJ Worlds 2. I've included a short highlight of this submission in the first half of the video.
The second half of the video includes the Hindulotine Submission breakdown. The Hindulotine is essentially a Guillotine from Rubber Guard using a reverse gable grip to apply the choke. The beauty of this technique is that the choke still works even if the guard is passed. An alternative option from the Hindu Control is transitioning to Dead Orchard (see link below) and reverse Triangles.

I DO IT LIKE THE K.O.M - YUNG KOOLADE
I do not own any of the footage used. It's purely for educational and entertainment purposes.
Hey thanks for making this video, I like it 😁👌. Yea basically a leg in guillotine. One thing I’d say is the grip has changed, it’s no longer a reverse gable grip. It’s a modified s grip guillotine I call an “ok grip”. It’s on my channel. It’s a unique guillotine grip I will also use and go to without the leg in too.
Everyone will always comment about the knee.. but I actually play this and all my rubber guard game with paths that don’t stress my knee. I don’t go the gogo route and if you pay attention, this Hindu route, my knee stays in the same position. It puts nothing on the knee. Flexibility needed is more in the shoulder. But yes, this is a super unique body type dependent move. It’s a freak move. And I think that’s exactly the freedom we have as competitors vs coaches.. I don’t run a gym teaching or telling people they should play this. It’s one of the unique tricks in my bag as a competitor.
Thank you Ben, it's an honor to feature you on my channel.
I had no idea the grip was changed and will let people know in the description. This is something I'm definitely going to drill.
Big fan of yours and thank you for watching!!
This is a bit of a joke question but imma ask anyway, do you think you could do this to khabib 😅
Xladen Light a tall order of course, but this game is meant for a Khabib. And I would have confidence playing it.
@@BenEddy man i hope to one day see rubber guard be played regularly in mma. It would be cool to see a fighter dominate from the bottom
Xladen Light yea it’s tough cause rubber guard is such a specialist game and committing to being in guard. And takes quite awhile to get really good at.. so there are a lot of factors to why we don’t see it yet. It interests me quite a bit to know how effective it would be in mma. If played by a high level person.
Definitely trying it on my little brother
🤣🤣🤣 thats a good start
Right... I'm 34 years old this year and my brother still loves getting froggy every now and again. We were both in the military, but I took my hand to hand combat skills higher than he did. He hates when I roll him up, but he starts it usually when my back is turned, so yeah, going for this choke next time. Lol.
I dont have a little brother, but my wife doesnt mind me doing this to her.instead of a tap out she squeezes my nards! Arrgh!

Gotta say 10th planet jiu jujitsu is on another level in terms of thinking outside of the box..damn
💯
@Porrada Everyday speaking the truth. 10th planet is some fun stuff to watch but I dont think that it relies enough on solid, fundamental, basic Jiujitsu.
@Porrada Everyday Never forget that the Rubber Guard system was designed for MMA as a way to avoid getting punched. It's proved very effective for that purpose with Tony Ferguson using the system very effectively or even BJ Penn doing very similar stuff back in the day.
It's not the best for sports BJJ where there is no strike so playing open butterfly is better. (if you try open/butterfly in MMA you get either beat up or the guy stand up if he doesn't stay on the ground.)
Until it's not.........most of it is the kind of shit that will work on a guy once or twice....and then, they'll know not to get their posture broken....and so long as you keep your posture....quite literally none of the 10th planet shit is viable anymore. It will work a couple times on the same person, but after that, if the person is even remotely decent, this goofy shit won't work anymore.
Cornbreadddd dude... Royler Gracie. Nuffsaid
This is what the "art" in "martial art" is all about. Beautiful!!!
💯Thanks for the support
efi13efi Well said bro 👍🏻
If i put the leg under my arm like that it means my leg broken
🤣🤣
Hahaha great comment
Haha
That is way too much pressure on your own knee. Ridiculous.
10th Planet JJ definitely plays to ones own flexibility. I would love to get to that level of flexibility to apply to my bjj 🤙🏾

I just discovered your channel and I love it! Your videos are high quality, informative, well-paced and also just fun to watch! Keep it up!
Thank you for the support! Stay tuned my friend
Nice choke. That stash adds insult to injury as well. Yea guys, I got choked out by gangs of new york over here.
Hahaha. Don't let the stash fool you.

Thank you brother! Appreciate the support 👊
It’s cool to see how much footage I shot of Ben Eddy edited into a highlight breakdown. Great edit on his hindulotine!
Appreciate the feedback! Thank you for always producing high quality content for 10P/EBI/CJJ!!
I didn’t think you’d put it out this quick, thank you 🙏🏾
For my audience, I try and deliver. Thank you for supporting
Of course. These are honestly some of, if not the best edits and breakdowns I’ve seen out of any of my sports. Keep it up
love these videos... It's seems like Eddie is training up some wizards at 10 planet.... what I like is he isn't teaching them a regid system.. but giving them a framework..and leaving plenty of room for them to come up with their own Submissions.. it's like he's opened up another world of BJJ... it's amazing to see..
💯💯
These breakdowns are awesome and are great to watch from a countering standpoint as well. I made a guy tap with a hail Mary counter to this move. Same set up, I used my right arm to fight off the guillotine grips by my neck and moved my right hand to the left side of my face. I wind milled my left arm over the foot over my neck and s-gripped my hands. Squeezing my elbows gave a sort of toe hold torque to the ankle and knee. It was a last ditch move that just happened to work. When my partner does these moves they work for him but he is maxed out from a flexibility stand point and he told me what I did to him put a ton of pressure on his knee.
Long story short, I can't come close to trying most of these moves with my 2x4 flexibility, but I love your breakdowns.
These videos are sick my man, keep them coming! 🤘🏻
Appreciate the feedback brother, please check my other vids
He's guillotining people with his mustache.
Brenda Schaub: 100%
😳
Imagine if Tony Ferguson can pull this submission on khabib. It'll be the submission of the Centuryyyyyyyyyyyy!!! 🤣
This is number 1 BS - Khabib
@@BJJTrickster lol, I agree.
🤣
Lol this kind of stuff does not work in mma its fine for bjj comps where rules cater for it but mma you wouldnt get close and playing off your back is a bad idea in mma, i think people need to get serious and see this type of stuff for what it is and thats quirky and cool for jits but in mmaor real life completly unrealistic on so many levels
Tony IS a 10th Planet guy so.......hey you never know!
Damn I've wanted a breakdown of this since I saw Ben eddy doing it a couple years back. Juicy. Had no clue it could be finished after passing the leg.
True that, thanks for watching
Great edit to guy in the trenches. Lots of time spent making that sweet video!
Thanks bro
Yet another amazing video! The Break down of this was great. I am definitely going to work this. thank you
Thank you brother!!

This is one, if not the most insane submission move I have ever seen. It's so damn clever and unexpected... *mindblown*
Title: ok.. black belt: EVERYTHING!

It's the same with the WSOP. The bracelet means far more than the money.
what a unique guillotine choke, so amazing
Definitely one of a kind

Wow. That black belt moment must have felt better than winning the ebi belt. Awesome
💯💯💯
Nice breakdown.
Appreciate it!
2:30 "Be the hammer, not the nail" as he's getting Hindulotined. LOL
Hahaha
He’s guillotining people with his mustache
hahaah
Now that's how you earn your black belt and the reason why the belt system in BJJ is revered over other martial arts. It takes years to finite the craft and you earn it through some of the hardest training and competitions you'll ever go through. Mad respect to Ben. He's going to be a positive influence for years to come for many students down the road.
💯 with you on this
Thanks for watching
@@BJJTrickster Love your videos. I'm a subscriber. As a BJJ student myself I absolutely enjoy watching your videos. In fact, I refer to them often. Keep up the good work. Your channel is legit.
Same leg everytime. I'd be blocking the fuck out of that left leg in this man's guard.
LOL yessir
I could do the same thing... But instead I'm eating this bowl of frosted flakes.
LOL 🤣
Hell yes!

Yes he was
Eddie is a fucking magician

Badass use of movement. Not being the limber type, this system intrigues me. Jits always fun to watch tho
Glad you enjoyed the video mate
That Black Belt meant more to him then that win! 🤙

AWESOME VIDEO GOD BLESS 10TH PLANET JIU JITSU
Thank you for watching
Excellent.
Thank you 👊
Such great sportsmanship @1:26 when homie goes out. It always bothers me when I see the victor, with complete disregard for their opponent, shove an unconscious competitor off of them and on to the mat. Why do that? I get that at times there is bad blood between competitors but that doesn’t justify a conspicuous lack of integrity. Do right by eachother.
💯Agree, we do see that from time to time
I like the way he lifted his belt up
the feels...
Flexibility vs Pliability/Functionality.
Thank you, oss
@BJJ Trickster ....... I’ve been involved in Technical Rock Climbing for 38 years & at one time was considered quite decent at it. Your pliability reminds me of a World Class Sport Climber. If you have time (or interest) please google Adam Ondra & Alex Magos. Oos 👏🏾🤙🏽
Awesome....Contacts on your Black belt
Thanks for watching
How are Ben's knees doing? ;)
This looks like a knee wrecker to me.
He's great, he does this everyday in training :)
The knees are intact if you know what you're doing. It's lateral rotation of the hips and hugging your knees to prevent meniscus tear. You only hurt your knee if you're super stiff and yanking on your feet. But if your knees is close to your chest, you're good
excellent!!
Thanks for watching 👊
Unfair competitions !
Dude's obviously an octopus !
💯💯🤣🤣
The most insane thing about this move is that it's locked 360 degrees. There's no way out!
Looks sick unfortunately my legs too short to pull this off I probably break my leg if I tried
Hahah, yes this move is not for everyone
Look into it.
Edgy Brah
Ok, that’s pretty badass
If you have toothpick legs, otherwise this is super hard to mold. Proud to have been tapped by Ben at 10PATX
Looks so weird and cool at the same time
Beauty
If i tryd that I'd shit in my opponent's face
😳
The best part is he looks like that weird kid who came to school in orthopedic Velcros, pink corduroy shorts and a dirty polo covered in cat hair.
I didn’t even know how he was getting the choke until they addressed the hand hold. Not a whole lotta space to get that done! It’s like being wrapped up by a python.....once he gets you there, you’re done.
Nice and simple
Ossss
Ok, i'm to withebeltish to get how the pressure is applied with the choke. Anyways, it looks sick. Keep up the good work!
Very similar to a guillotine with the grip under the chin. Thanks for watching
