- Startup of my jzs147, car has been sitting for a few months without being driven (winter) but decided to put the battery in it today and start it up. Car is a 1992, factory Torsen LSD, twin turbo, no sunroof, cloth int.

I have bought a first gen lexus gs300 it's got a 2JZE engine 210bhp and it's a 1997 model.. I love it to bits ..cost me £320 in the UK everything works I then serviced it and MOT and road taxed it..
It's a very fast and comfortable car ..!
Yeah I'm a huge fan of JDM imports, 15 years is a long time to wait but to be honest the cars built 15-20 years ago were the best! We are about to get abunch of new models in canada, cars like 2nd gen aristo (JZS161), JZX100 (single turbo vvti 1j), r34, altezza, s15, even AP1's will be legal soon!
nice aristo man, looks and sounds good. i feel like ive seen your car around crowfoot before, im from calgary as well. i agree, we are really lucky to have such a short import law, i cant wait till i start seeing r34s and s15s and such, itll be good. im young but im saving up for some jdm car, havent decided what kind yet lol, but eventually ill lay my hands on a r32 or a r34 =)
In Qc we can't plate JDMs anymore, unless they are 25 years or older, which sucks.. next year we will be able to plate some freshly imported r32s, but a RHD driving permit will be needed I think.. so yeah all that to say that you are lucky dude!

Can't remember, they weren't a custom setup though it was a Japanese brand like fujitsubo or something.. sorry!
