- Join Woody and I as we do our first raised polework session as part of his rehab from a fractured pedal bone. I head over to the yard at lunchtime and show you how I set the poles up, our session and give you updates on a few things that have been going on.

So patient with his rehabilitation. Woody has such an inspirational owner. Rhi is my favourite blogger. Keep up your hard work
I really admire your commitment Rhi. I can't believe how well he's holding it together after being on box rest for so long.
Thank you. He is incredible !
He's such a good boy!! i can't believe he's gonna be trotting, TROTTING, soon! He's lucky to have you
TROTTING!
Love seeing your love for Woody. Really admire you getting in the rehab sessions in your lunchtimes. He's a lucky pony to have you!
Thank you, I’m lucky to have him too. He has such a fabulous attitude ❤️
Thank you so much for showing the bar Rhi! OMG!!! They look so yummy! Off the packaging I was like 'Meh yeah wat evs'. Now I think I need to try them!
🤣 you’re so welcome. In February I’m trying out the vegan ones: Raspberry & White Chocolate and Chocolate Brownie 👌🏻
RHI IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! Best of luck to you both for the rest of the journey
Thank you !
He is such a happy boy! I was going to ask you if you had to clean up the poles at the end, but I see you did. It was always a battle at my old barn. It wasn't required to put anything away in the arena. One day it could be a jump course or the next barrels.
He’s very cute bless him. And yes, it’s not a requirement to put them away and in fact people only really do poles or the odd jump in our indoor so it can be quite nice for Woody and I as we get to try out new things, but when it’s several bits and bobs like this I think it’s nice if you can pop them away.
I wouldn't be angry. Vlogging is so hard that I still haven't posted any vlogs. Was one of the people who expressed interest in the Pivo.
Thank you! It’s on my list to film.
He is looking super ❤️so excited and happy for you xx
Thank you ❤️
🥰
Well you certainly cram more into your lunchtimes than most! But it's really paying off- Woody is looking great!
Thank you very much ❤️
You're both doing SO well and it was so sweet when he kind of nibble/kissed you back mid-groom. Cuteness overload 🥰He's looking much stronger than in the darker winter days too. Where are your ankle boots from with the velcro strap? They look so comfy!
Haha he’s very cute like that. I often get him right on the back of my neck when I bend down to do his legs 🤣 and thank you - I think he’s looking stronger too. The boots are the Woofwear yard boots (they were kindly given to me by Equus, so if you like and choose to buy from them, you can use the code INFRD10 for a discount): www.equus.co.uk/products/woof-wear-short-yard-boots
@@RidingWithRhi Ahh, thank you so much! I'm up for some new boots so I will take a look. My sister's horse is retired at 7yrs due to head shaking but he's just so beautiful and Woody reminds me of him so much 🥰🤩
Thanks Rhi for the vlog. The proprioception is very interesting because my horse only really “sees “ jumps and regularly thumps poles or goes over them very well. Looking forward to trying your fan shaped pole layout with blocks added 😊
No, judging! We have all hung our girth… Or some thing… From a tree branch!😂😂😂❤❤❤
🤣🙊
Love seeing how he has progressed, he is looking great! I might try this pole exercise as my horse is forever tripping over her own feet 🤣 Can't wait to see the hacking vlog and fingers crossed for the next vet visit 🤞🏻What riding boots do you wear? They look nice x
Thank you so much on all counts. The boots are Toggi, kindly provided by the brand to me. I’ve always loved the black & laced boots, but these also have a chunky sole. It’s definitely not for everyone but I have quite flat feet so I like having something a bit more sturdy. Here’s a link (mine are a wide fit): www.toggi.com/shop/womens-footwear/womens-long-riding-boots/avebury-training-boot-regular/
@Riding With Rhi thank you! They look really smart and I'm after a new pair so I'll take a look 😊
If u don't mind me asking, how long do you have to do Woodys days during your lunch break?
I’ve never timed it but I’m very fast! And I take my laptop / regularly check phone whilst there. I also start work much earlier - 7/7.30 to make up for the lost extra time (if any).
Are you still loaning duke?
No, I shared an update on a previous video but I always knew (as did his owners) that I’d have to stop if / when Woody came back into work. I was chatting to his owner today though - he’s looking good as ever 🥰
@@RidingWithRhi ohh okay! I havent been on youtube recently, so its refreshing to see woody back into work! Im glad dukes doing good, he’s a gorgeous horse! and you’re so patient, and i hope to see more exciting videos on woods 💗💗
