I am an early riser too! I am that friend that is standing outside their house 10 minutes early in the freezing cold rain just so I know I won't be late! I try and stay off my phone as much as I can in the morning to stop me getting so distracted!
So nice to see someone else who spends half their life on public transport! 🤣 In normal times I’m an hour on the bus to work in the mornings and an hour and a half after to get back up to the farm (then to and from the farm and home is a 30 min journey, so 3 hours travelling a day!)
This video is great cuz most equine youtubers Have more than one horse to sort out in the morning and I wouldn’t have more than one horse so this is easier for me to follow if that makes sense !
Awesome video! I've been looking at leases and how I could possibly start to work a routine with riding into my normal school routine, so very insightful! My morning tips on early starts include making my breakfast and lunch the night before. For me personally this takes the most amount of time in my morning so having it already done is a huge time saver! But obviously everyone is different and that may not help some people :D Keep up the good work!
@@RidingWithRhi That would be awesome! I really want to start a horse lease as it would enable me to practice more and actually build a relationship with my horse which I value a lot xx
Gina Raspberry me too! Plus, there’s so much information I wish I had known when I was researching leasing/loaning that I would like to share with others ☺️
Love how informative this video is in regards to horse care. What colour is Ted? As he seems to be a grey, but has a palomino coloured face and a patch on his neck.
Thanks Joanne! Hoping to do a few more of these videos to give a bit more detail into our life! Haha - great question, Ted is 100% grey, the patch you can see is a stable stain 🙈 it's a little too cold still to bath him yet 😂
@@joannewilson9253 at least you know we're #real, no filter! 😂 thanks Joanne - this weekend is a video on Sharing vs. Loaning: the difference, the associated costs, the contracts + the tips i have from my own experience 😊
I've always wanted to try western! I do a little bit of everything and will be sharing a video of my jumping Ted next week. I've only been sharing him since January so we've been focused on flatwork, but I do dressage, xc, sj, funriding, lots of fun stuff.
@@autumnstrid2337 Yep! It's on my bucket list to go and spend some time on a ranch and try my hand at being a cowgirl! Haha. Have you ever tried riding English in general?
Autumn Strid we’ll give you an honourary membership 😂 is there anything shout English riding you’re particularly interested in? Eg. Tacking up, how to do certain ridden movements etc? Maybe I can do a video on it ☺️

Horse Rider thank you! They are the Ariat Heritage Compass H20. I’ve had them for years! They’re excellent when looked after.
