Don't know how this song didn't go worldwide one of the greatest Aussie songs of all time! When you have motivational difficulties just keep playing this song over and over again...
Played an acoustic gig with jamieson last night in port Macquarie. Not braggin but I played his guitar and it was a big thing for me this band rules. Memories as a kid listening to this band. And to have met him last night was sick. He's still so fucking good man. Legends
I was a late starter on Grinspoon - was 35 when I first took notice (am 47 now) - 'Better Off Alone' one of my favourite all time songs - so good I sent it up to friends in France - there's now a small legion of French-folk who are infected with Grinspoon
I'm still playing their music and every time someone new hears what I'm playing they get into the band as well. Kids, adults ...anyone who somehow missed their magic. They all end up getting right into the bands music. I'm just pissed they didn't release more music. They're still one of the Best Aussie Bands ever. In the top 5.
Was awesome to see you guys live last weekend! I struggle with social anxiety but at the gig I felt free and happy and sang along to every word. I loved it! Thankyou
I cannot stop listening to grinspoon, since early 1990'🕺✌️😎,im 50 now and still pump this band up on full volume, wat was that, did you say sumthing?im deaf i never heard a word you said,so shut up and leave me alone,im trying to listen to the wise man Beat's,🎉🥳🔊
Recollecting memories from the time of my life when I used to enjoy this song... this song is old but still sounds fresh.. it always will! Chemical heart
Not sure what year this made an impact, but a flood of mish mash memories come flooding back... Nobody does music like this that touches your soul and triggers a flood of memories.
I was around in the 90s and witnessed grunge. What a juggernaut. If that decade wasn't as a hell in a handbasket as it was for mine I would have loved this genre more. Ok I can enjoy now. Thing is you need to zeitgiest to understand it.
I saw these guys live at the Gollan Hotel in Lismore when they were starting out .They would have been about 16 or 17 at the time and I knew they'd be huge . I went and told all my mates about them . They certainly lived up to my expectations !
Saturday nights at the Gollan - Grinspoon, Frenzal Rhomb, Magic Dirt and plenty others that came through town. Long live the 90's and bring back pub rock
my favourite song on the usb drive plugged into my car headset while driving. i usually have it on shuffle, and when this song comes on i crank it to the max, subwoofer included, and rock out to it. i dont smoke weed but this song just sounds sooo good. its actually the high notes that are so damn addictive, not the low notes, so subwoofer is not compulsory.
loved these guys in my Uni days in the early 00's. head the lead singer had an ice issue, truly hope he recovered and has overcome any issues he had. same goes for anyone out there with addiction. love the song, cheers.
I have to thank IMF(international music feed) a no longer existing music channel on DishNetwork from 2005 - 2007 it gave me some great bands and songs like Grinspoon I never would have known about otherwise. I miss that channel. Music Videos all day from all over the world.
Hey boys, hope your still doing fine. So many songs I like that you've put out that I can relate to, and it's fine "Dam Fine". Always watching, you're mate Marduk. Blessings, may the veil now be lifted. Amon.
been watching reviews of current hit "rise" by extreme featuring a lead by Nuno Bettencourt - reminded me of "chemical heart" -- saw Grinspoon in 2002,2003 and 2005 at Nambour RSL - ------------- Rick Beato's (and others) look/review of the lead by Nuno is good to watch
Terrific song. can't help but sing it so relevant the emotion i feel connects me deeply but with an abandon to express rather than dwell on past events
Dropped acid early morning Australia day weekend at big day out 2000. The boiler room. Started getting on top of me . The crowds. The heat . And didn't help that id lost my friends . Started getting my brain back about the time Grinners were on. Started watching and then bumped into an old friend who gave me sunnies and calmed my nerves . Nearly crushed to death when the nine inch nails fans crushed chili peppers fans when they started up . Just an intense and crazy day . Strange times.
Doesn't that hit the spot.. especially today .💯❤️ Lost too many so called friends and family..who at the end of the day had a Chemical Heart..and forgot about The Unconditional Heart..🙏💯❤️
