Really LOVE how you changed the colors! So Beautiful! I redo all (most) of my mistakes too because "if it's worth doing. It's worth doing well". You've inspired me.
Stunning work!!! I've made several mosaic crochet projects and would love to make a multicolored one, but it is sooooo intimidating to me. Breaking it down like you have, as well as your tips, is awesome.
You do it the same way I do! I also have a few videos on color changes, but I carry my 2nd & sometimes 3rd row colors up through muliple rows if they aren't too far apart..
Algorithms finally working in my favor for once ❤ I am exactly where you were 2 years ago. Made a couple of blankets and ready to add a 3rd color. Timing is Excellent.
You are definitely doing an advanced blanket. The ones I do is working one color per row. Your blanket is beautiful. It would drive me nuts with ends in middle with knots. Again love your work.
Oh, don't glue the strings! Sew them in at the end of each row as you go. I know, I hate tacking in the ends but you have an amazing project going on there. You are probably already finished with it by now but you would hate for the glue to not hold down the road. Thanks for your help on this explaining how you did this.
Hi right now I am working on my cottage core mosaic blanket and granny squares blanket and butterfly 🦋 mosaic blanket and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite types of yarn to used when crocheting and keep up the great work on your UA-cam channel and keep up the great work on your crochet projects
Allô, votre vidéo m’a fait beaucoup de bien! Je viens de commencer un projet de crochet mosaïque et ,ce qui me rassure, c’est que je suis passé par les mêmes étapes (frustrations) et j’en suis venue à faire comme vous! Merci encore! Votre projet est magnifique!
Wowza!! I really love your blanket! It looks amaaaazing! I still haven't tackled Mosaic crochet .... yet! My only hold up is all of the ends & that I might go down a rabbit hole as I tend to get tunnel vision! You're really enticing me into that whole world of mosaic crochet! The Canadian Crocheter recommended you. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Give it a try! It's really rewarding to see it come together. I have so many more I want to do. When I start a new one, I'll post more videos 😁 I'm in Canada too, greetings from across the world 😃
I love your blanket! If you used Knit Companion to follow your charts, you can hook them all together in the app and no need to mark where chart ends/begins. Thank you for sharing.
I’ve been looking for a technique like this!! Please tell me where I can find a custom pattern maker. I have a 2 color logo that I need a have converted into a pattern.
Are you using 4ply yarn? I have some red heart yarn in color changes that looks like yours. 9green) Also what size hook are you using? My problem is I crochet on the loose side and a pattern like this comes out very large. I own more 4 ply yarn than a small store. Thanks for your video
I purposely did not show the tablet too close because I don't own the pattern. I want to respect the creator by not releasing it to the public, it can be purchased on Ravelry.
I brought a mosaic pattern that only had 2 colours per section, that after a couple of blankets I got use to mosaic stitch. I just went out and brought a pattern, it’s only 2 colours, but as you said there is a lot of counting. it seems thicker, is that normal. I noticed yours is pretty thick , will you be using it as a wall hanging ?
Great instructions. Please test your fabric glue first. I have used it before on a colorwork project and it left a visual glue spot. Not great after doing all that work. Lesson learned.
Hello, I love your blanket. I’m wondering if you could tell me the name of the beautiful Christmas blanket that you showed the two-sided border on. I’d like to buy it. Also the yarn you used on it, thanks!
I suppose you could also print out the pattern and manually highlight with pen 🤔 printing can be expensive with ink and paper tho. But for me with dyscalculia i manage better with physical paper instead of app screen.
You can definitely do that. I thought of doing it that way before I found the highlighter function in the app. I also like paper because I can doodle notes on it.
Row Counter has a function that allows you to highlight and draw on the pattern. I think I'll do a tutorial for this app but I want to be sure I'm using it properly first.
@@trudy_lam thank you. That would be so kind for you to take your time to help us old folks to better understand. I had row counter but switched to Knit Companion. I think I’ll try to download Row Counter again. 🥰
Because they are 2 different sizes, you'll have to add about 5 stitches on either side of the wording section so the banner is centered. Best of luck! 😀

This video is amazing and confirmed my idea of change colors in a project that I will work sooner. Thank you!
So excited to try this!
So cool! Thank you 😊

Wow absolutely beautiful
Beautifully done
Lovely blanket. Very informative chat. Thank you. Oh and hello from Argyll in Scotland
This is So refreshing.. watching someone else toss a less than successful attempt is freeing.. I had such guilt for throwing yarn away 😁
Wonderful project! Thank you for share :)

@@trudy_lam so where's the pattern? I've looked through most of the descriptions and text but not even where I can purchase it.

Do you have a link to this pattern?

Can you do a video on how to start this. I’m working on a graph but having a hard time figuring out how to do it as a mosaic pattern

I want to try doing this on a pattern, can you tell me what row counter app you use? There are several I’d like the highlighter one like you use.
You could move your tablet cluster so we can see it.
That would not mess up your camera setting.,

What a beautiful project I have a question what is the app that you use for the row counter?
It's just called Row Counter. I downloaded it from the Google Play Store but it's also available in the Apple Store. 😁
Can you tell us the name of the row counter app please

Are you always crocheting from right to left when you do graphgan?
Yes, because I'm right handed. Left handed individuals would go left to right.
@@trudy_lam you always start in the right and then go left,so if a understand correctly it’s always right to left….you never go both ways
😊😊❤❤❤😊😊
Pattern?
How do you get the squares to the color you want in row counter please?

I do like you. I stitch mark where the graph ends.

I’m sorry to bug you @Trudylam, but could you link the pattern for your Christmas blanket? I’d like to make it. Thanks very much.

How about adding a flannel backing like a quilt...sew...all the ends are covered

A little less story telling and a little more how-to demonstrating would be helpful. Also more closeups PLEASE.
