The construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge is a major infrastructure project spanning both the United States and Canada. The bridge is named after Gordie Howe, a Canadian ice hockey player who was one of the greatest players in the history of the sport.
The project involves a significant workforce, including engineers, construction workers, project managers, environmental specialists, and various other professionals. These workers come from both sides of the border and collaborate to ensure the successful completion of the bridge.

Thank you for Charlotte!
I like these construction progress videos without the drama...thanks and keep up the great work!
I don’t like the drama either but I have to put up with it. This is what I go through to bring you the videos.
@@michaelanthonyvideos fair enough!
@@wientz I didn’t plan on putting those up on the channel, but after they try to destroy my drone, the gloves are off.
Just awesome
Thank you Thom!
Great update, been gone from Windsor since '68 good to see the bridge being finally built. You are the man when it comes to documenting the process in such style. The music deserves kudos also,.
@@Verstore Thank you very much Verstore! It's an amazing project.
Breathtaking
😊 🙏 Thank you!
The Bridge is not even finished but it's easy to see that it will be Beautiful. Kudos to Designer.

Thank you again Blueman! ✌👍
I taught Gordies grandchildren tennis in e htfd ct. what a beautiful memorial bridge
That's something. Thank you for watching!
I see there us still a bit of a difference in elevations between the two spans.
I have sent off an apprentice to get a "Left Handed Sky Hook", I hope that helps!
Flying right down the middle was perfect, thanks!
It's because of the exchange rate. It takes 1.25 Canadian meter to equal 1.00 US meter.
There is a pretty complex process that involves adjusting the tension on the stay cables. I actually read a sheet that gives a simplified description.
Thank you for watching!
very top my friend killed it 👏👏👏
Living in Michigan makes me so excited to know that there’s going to be a new bridge- I don’t know why but it’s just interesting to me on what ideas people come up with to connect countries together for people who can’t even get there on one bridge
They needed it due to all the exports and imports between the two countries. Unlike the Ambassador Bridge, trucks will be able to haul hazardous material across it.
Very nice video, once again.
Thank you Alley katt!
I was at Delray Park yesterday 5/24/24 and it looks really close. They were killing it catching the Silver Bass.
There’s a lot of fishing boats on the river at this time of year.
Have a good weekend!

Thank you for watching!
Your videos don't get boring!!➖🛏
Thank you for watching!
It would be great to see a side by side with the Howe and The Big Mack if you could.
The sheer size and enormity of this bridge is not felt from the air as much as from the ground near the pylon (00:20)
"Simon Girty Bridge", would be the more appropriate name, ladies.
Interesting.
Does anyone know who made the wire rope suspension cables ? Thanks.
When the connection ?
Thank you for watching the video!
Is that railway track still in use at the beginning of the video - look like it runs into the work area on the lefthand side? Good to see the work on the bridge is close to joining up 👍
The track leads to that tall round concrete silo of Lafarge cement company
should have been double that size with 2 levels and a rail system
Beggars can’t be choosers
