My mind was blown when I realized ancient gear beast is a goat card

You just reminded me that I need to make ancient gears for this format

I would like to know the deck's place in the metagame. I love the concept of harpies, but whenever I look at putting a deck together it always looks trash compared to everything else I can do. And not grave keeper disruptive trash, just plain trash.

Yes, that is accurate 🤣 it's very jank and rogue. Purely for casual play

@@Retro_YGO hahaha fair enough! I'm playing a prog series with a friend and it's sad how Harpies seemingly never get enough support to be good at any point.
Also I need to say that the ruling that a card counting as another card in deck actually prevents you from running both cards during deck creation is INSANE. Like, the card's text box shouldn't be active during the deck building phase.
That would be like saying that if you take an opponent's creature with Amazoness chain master and already had 3 that you get instantly banned from the event for having an illegal deck lol!
Needlessly restricts the effects they can print for no reason at all lol.

Oh yeah for sure, and a deck as down as it's luck as harpies definitely could have at least used the options to play the different names (not that it would make the deck much better). Good luck on your prog series. If you've got a channel, lmk and I'll start watching :)

@@Retro_YGO Thanks man! No channel, just 2 dudes having fun after watching other people make prog series look cool. I'm mostly a MTG player, and using the prog series as an on-ramp to Yugioh. Honestly I think it's a really good way to learn the game.
