- I’m so excited that my MBA journey of 2 years is coming to an end in almost 2 months. I’ve generously shared about my experience so far, when I started, how I started and the value I’ve received from being an MBA candidate. I shared about details from accepting my admission offer in April, starting my MBA virtually from Nigeria with so much uncertainty and finally arriving in the United States in December to start the Spring semester of my first year.
Prospective students would find the information useful as they prepare for resumption and I hope people who are contemplating getting an MBA can use my experiences to make a decision on if it’s right for them.

Hi Antonio, welcome and thank you for subscribing! With respect to the question on WES, is the school you’re applying to specifically asking for this? I wasn’t required to do/use WES during my time.
Many schools are fine with you submitting an unofficial transcript (or one that has been watermarked) while you are applying but would then request for the original transcript when you get admitted and want to start the program.

Congratulations Fisayo!❤️🎊🥳 Hopefully you get to answer my one question. So, in all honesty I do not have up to 2 years of work experience. It’s over a year but not up to 2. Ideally, I’m required to have 2…I’m scared with this fact because I’m also trying to apply for the MBA in American university. What do you know about this, do you think I can still get an admission with my experience thus far?
you will be fine...if you get good GMAT score, MOST schools will accept you anyways with a less than 2 years work experience...most schools will accept you....go ahead and apply....you can thank me later..lol
Hi Tomi, thanks for asking. Your chances of getting in with less than 2 years experience depends on the actual quality and content of the experience you have. You’ll do well to convey your experience in a way that’s targeted to the school you’re applying to (based on what you’ve researched that they are keen) and letting them see you as a fit regardless of the short span of time you’ve worked. Don’t forget that you’re competing with other applicants who probably have more years in experience especially if you’re applying to a top school, so you need to put your best foot forward.

@@FisayoGracieAbby actually the more years you have, the less qualified you are for a typical MBA program. Candidates with a lot of experience are usually over-qualified and told to apply to the EXECUTIVE-MBA instead
