Thank you so much fisayo for all the tips you drop on your YT, I'm a huge fan of the channel. I have series of questions really 😂 but let me start from somewhere. Is MBA a STERM accredited course?
Benefits of an MBA: 1. Larger personal and professional network 2. Increased confidence 3. Increased earnings 4. Cultural awareness 5. Gives time for reflection 6. Makes career transition smoother 7. Rich and diversified course content 8. Practical & experiential learning 9. Useful soft skills 10. Fun😊
This was insightful, thanks! I wasn’t aware of all except from the fact that it’s a broad spectrum and there’s always the advantage to switch careers. Now I’m more excited and determined!
Thanks for taking us through this journey and congratulations. Your channel is among the few I follow here. I'll like to ask for your view on getting a loan from Mpower and co for an MBA, if it won't pose a red flag for visa.
Thank you for following Junior! I know many students who have gotten visas with loans and I also know a handful who got denied at first/second attempt but eventually got it. So although it might be questioned, because logically you'd tell them that your post MBA goal is to come back and take up a managerial position in your home country or whatever. This means your personal funds, the funds from your sponsor (if any) or the amount you will be making in the new role should ideally be sufficient to pay up your debt in the loan term.
Fisayo baby....you are looking palatable oh...I like your pink outfit...it looks good on you. COngratulations on your graduation. I am just starting mine this fall at Temple University in Philly
I love this video! The major thing that interests me in this video is entrepreneurship aspect of the MBA. Please, I have a question for you: Please, can you help me to edit my Admission Essay/Statement of Purpose for my MBA in US?
Hi Favour, glad to have you here. Thanks for watching! Currently I do not have capacity to review essays/SOPs, however I know a reliable consultant you can engage. Please send an email to services@titanrconsulting.com and let them know your request.
Hello Fisayo. I stumbled upon your recent video on how to apply for an MBA and I binge-watched the videos on your UA-cam channel. But I have a little difficulty, I'm a final year student studying education chemistry at a Nigerian university. I am to get a BeD certificate. But I want to apply for an MBA outside the country, please how do I transition since I don't have a prior degree related to business.
Hello Lovelyn, great to have you here! Do you have any work experience? You can use that to boost your profile. You also don’t necessarily need to have a business background to do an MBA. Like I said in this video, some of my classmates were lawyers, doctors etc but they did have experience working in their field
Hi Fisayo, I am currently working as an audit associate and I want to pursue an MBA. I will have 2 yrs working experience by the time application opens for 2023. Do you think I have a shot at admission and getting a full scholarship?
Please which of the mba's did you apply to. I have realized we have MBA for business analytics and management. Please which one specifically do you speak of.
Unranked? First, that's a red flag. Second, can you check out the school's website and look through their career reports? That's a great way to find out the types of jobs previous graduates of the schools have gotten. Generally, I would not advise anyone to attend an unranked school.
Yayyy.Hello again ,thank you for responding. 1) What was your GRE score 2) Was working in a PWC a determinant for your selection knowing it’s part of the big 4’s 3) What was your grade over 4 grading system 4) how did you approach the body to wave applications fees 5) What is your CGPA I still have more ❤️🥰

@@oguamasonnia4727 Oh my bad Sonnia, because you said "what is your cgpa" I thought you were referring to my current MBA cgpa so I thought that was unnecessary. While you are correct about not knowing full details on an applicant's academic qualifications, through my MBA journey I have found that it's not always significant. For instance, in my school I know students who finished with 2:2 awarded full scholarships, same with students who made first class. So it's basically about how you tell your story and package your application. I know that students who do not have strong undergrad grades focus more on either their certifications, accomplishments at work/business, GRE/GMAT scores etc, they speak to their strengths and sideline the rest.
I mean, they can but it might not be the best experience for them. I shared more thoughts about your question at point 4:33 of this video ua-cam.com/video/cQa9B75bLMo/v-deo.html Check it out

Hi Fisayo,
After MBA, does it mean you will return to your home country after graduation because it’s not a stem course?
Is mba from an unranked regional business school worth it?
What will the job prospects look like?

Yeah.
I checked online with the us news report and i saw that the business school is unranked..

Nothing exceptional.
Maybe because that's the only US school i got an mba offer and it's cheaper than my other options.
