    The pulley doesn't stop in other videos I have seen. Also, you blocked the math equation with your head.

      by scrolling the video you can see the equation P= 2*pi/ 60* w*L

    That was plain illogical and wrong. There is no gap, that's the groove and rim structure of the pulley. The shaft never stops, it rotates at a constant speed. Please do proper research on topics you intend to post online.

    P=(W-S)(D-d) πN/60
    And when we neglect (d)
    It will be P=(W-S) DπN/60

    if the pulley stops your rpm becomes zero, and power output becomes zero, I think you need a tachometer as the rpm changes with increasing the shaft load

    And if it's made out of different materials, the friction will be different, and the results will be different.

    The shaft should rotate at constant rpm when the torque is balanced

  • @sreenithal7586
    @sreenithal7586 6 років тому +3

    wrong explanation.. shaft will never stop here.. how will the upper wooden block come down come down as a whole if we put weight in only one side..?

    • @ajutajitbhattacharya2383
      @ajutajitbhattacharya2383 4 роки тому

      Yes the shaft will rotate at constant rpm and as for the frictional forces the nuts are tightened
