Excellent video! I really like Waterman pens so this video is much appreciated! Thanks for your great content and a very Happy New Year to you and your family!
I had a really good experience with my carene’s warranty. The clutch ring on the cap came unglued and they fixed it quickly and got it back to me in about a week. They even sent it back with an extra cartridge.
I think Waterman has many of us confused. It's one thing to stay below the radar, but Waterman seems to be underground, when people love their pens, even the modern ones. The Hemisphere was my first fountain pen. I like the Exceptions right from the beginning, but the Hemisphere was what I could afford at the time. Oh, and can't forget their inks too. It's such a shame because the history of Waterman also gets lost too. Love the way that feed looks.
You’re right about the Waterman history getting lost! This company has so much potential to reach out and get people excited but they don’t invest in their marketing or make appearances. Too bad really!
Merry Christmas Vanessa! I love your reviews! I like this pen, specially the shape of it. I think this could be a good addition to my not-so-adult collection 😅 I send you hugs and I wish you happy holidays ❤❤❤❤
That is a gorgeous pen! I hope to buy one in the next year.
I have the Exception black in a rollerball and just love it. These pens will last for years.
These are definitely pens that could be passed down to the next generation!

Happy New Year!
Thanks PG!
Lovely pens. Great review, Gangsta.
Waterman was big when I was a boy in London……I had a Burnham….less expensive……also looked up to Parker. ( late 1950s ). Like what you say…. Thank you.

Thank you for the review. I'm looking at it on Amazon. 😊
How does it compare with the Carene?
I had a Carene and I dropped it. I loved it. I suppose I could send it back to them for a 50% discount, but too much hassle.
I also love waterman inks. Very affordable and no fuss. 😊
What a shame! Maybe a nibmeister could fix the nib?
I have the Exception L'Essence de Bleu with a medium nib! It writes likes butter! Pen Boutique has your model for under $450 right now.

Hi Kari! I think this pen has a very cool shape that’s so different from other pens. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
I have the Waterman Carene, equally elegant, half the price.
Oh the Carene is a wonderful pen!!!
