Excellent video. I am a new tire tech and am learning this stuff. This helped me so much for when I do a DOT prior to fixing the tire. Thank you so much! Please make a DOT inspection video for the truck itself please 🙏. I am trying to learn. I was hired when I told the boss “I know nothing mechanically” He said “perfect.”
@ look for anything caked in oil and if anything looks (obviously) damaged. For hoses check for splits, tears, signs of “redneck” repair. Also look for fluid leaks and spots that are wet but shouldn’t be.
Very good video I will point out you miss one thing and it is the most important thing 90% of the drivers do you did not check the fifth axle Air chamber slack adjuster or nothing like that it’s always easier to check the fourth axle but they need to put a knee on the groundand do a visual on the last axle on the rear I want to say 90% of the time I’ve done more repairs on the last axle then on the fourth

Have you found any other training videos. Mainly dealing with the trailers??
@ with what exactly? Searching for broken parts or something else?
@@JCTexanRyeGuy just in terms of general knowledge. Anything that could help someone seeking to be a trailer mechanic.
