  • At the 2024 Manila International Auto Show, Hyundai Motor Philippines officially launched the Hyundai N brand in the local market with not just one but two models: the Elantra N and the Ioniq 5 N. The Ioniq 5 N is the Korean brand’s all-electric take on a ‘hot hatch,’ and while this one is bigger and sits a bit higher off the ground compared with traditional hot hatches, it’s still got the performance and the handling characteristics of one.
We know that because before the Philippine launch, we were able to drive the car on track and on the highway in Barcelona, Spain. Is the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N worth its P4,250,000 asking price, and will it win over N-thusiasts in the local automotive scene? Click play on the video above for our first impressions, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Is that rev sound artificially added? Not used to an EV doing that normally.

I love the concept, and it looks awesome. Now if they can bring the price point down so the average Filipino can afford it, that would be great. - Drive Responsibly :D

Why would an average Filipino want a performance car?

Lol. This is definitely not for average Filipinos and i hope they wont bring the price down. This should stay at that PANG MAYAMAN bracket cos its really meant for those who can afford it.
