Thanks for all the great drills. My driving range sessions now only use a small bucket while I do various drills 3-5 times and then hit a ball. It really works!
Your down and in analysis is the best tip i've learned in the last ten years. Well demonstrated and easy to follow. Most important nugget for me is how you say the shoulders make the turn, not the hips. Now hitting straight and back over 200 yards off the tee and Amelia Island oak marsh course. You are the man,
Great stuff! Fairly new to ST and love it! Turning 60 in a few months and it’s so easy always been athletic and wish I would have known this stuff years ago old G15 are going father than ever 8 iron about 140 -150 depending on conditions! Not tired after a round played twice yesterday 81 -75 stacker for life now!! Great Jess !
I want thank you for your excellent driving lessons. Over the last months & with your lessons have really help me transform my driving the ball. I’m making consistent contact, hitting further and given me more opportunities for GIR’s and lowering my score. Thanks Jim Orlando
Just come to your channel today . Seems great advice , particularly under the chin on the downswing , I feel I throw myself out of balance on the downswing and under the chin may help keep a proper swing path . Like the advice re hitting it out the middle , only way at my age will get some reasonable distance . Many thanks from a cold and wet Scotland .
Perfect demonstration. I found at first doing this correction of the proper turn, it felt like as if my spine is tilted to target, not vertical at the top of back swing, but on video it shows it is still not tilted. Took some time for my getting this correction to feel normal.
I concentrated the last 2 days on feeling something similar to this. Shot 1 over both days(73). Because I'm someone who will sometimes hit a hook, I've managed to figure out why. It's always because I'm keeping my shoulders too level, especially at impact. This causes me to release the club head too soon, and causes me to flip it closed. Now, I focus on down, under, and through. The down part makes me spin my shoulders around my spine tilt, instead of leveling them out like you were demonstrating. The under part gives me the right side bend that I need to stabilize the club face, and allow the left shoulder to turn up, and back through impact. The through part just gets me opening my hips up to finish strong, and hit through the ball. I hope that my "visuals" help someone else... Great content!!!!
Jamie! That’s awesome my man! So glad it helped you! Love your detail I am going to share your comments. These will help golfers play better for sure! Appreciate your thoughtful comments :)
Suggestion for a video: Video yourself hitting balls and then looking at the video to see how you did. Thus a video of you videoing yourself on a typical typical practice session. Showing how to find your flaws and correct them. Love your videos they have been very helpful for me.
Working pretty well this,so far for me! Seems to be helping me from hitting from the top with the right arm especially! Dont even think about the arms at all! All I think about is the shoulders! And (under then under) left shoulder under the chin....right shoulder under the chin! 👍 thank you
Hey Jess love your videos if my backswing is pulling my head off center do I need to shorten it I’m 67 years old still very flexible for my age thanks again for your help
Stack and tilt is a system for teaching and playing golf based around a 3 dimensional description of the swing. Whatever you need in your swing the system can give you:)
I enjoy your video tips. Having to change the way I swing due to sciatica I've had the last 9 years. Now controlling the pain, I have played a little golf the last couple of years with more inconsistent shots than reasonable ones. New handicap system has given me 41 as before I was 20 hcp. I knew it would be higher as I am now of 80 years. After one of your videos showing the pumping drill over the right leg THEN turning the hips has given me the idea I may be spinning the hips too early causing bad shots. I have been puzzled as I rarely cast or come over the top, yet push, pull, slice, fat and thin shots. Roy
@@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton Thanks for your replies. At address I have usually have the bottom edge slightly closed after checking with my arms at horizontal level with my eye. At the present I don't have away of recording my swing. Roy

Hi Jess another great video simplifying the whole S&T technique . My feeling is on the backswing to point my left shoulder at the low point in front of the ball and then my right shoulder on the down swing again at the low point front of the ball . I’ve found this the best way for me to keep my weight always going forward- would you agree with this ? Keep up the great work 👍⛳️
Thank you. Stack and tilt has improved my iron play, but recently I can't get off the tee with my driver. My swing is consistently steep, over the top with the ball getting pulled to the left. I don't know what to do.
Hi coach! Thank You for inspiring videos. I am your follower here in Toronto Canada. Which position is the shoulder drop on downswing? Is start of P6 or middle part ? How fast is the shoulder drop? Thanks!
Starting to be more consistent with arms straight part of ST and the results are a long high tight little draw. Very excited to consistently hit a draw in today’s session at the range. No just have to work on the lower body action
At. the start of my round yesterday, i was really off with my direction when "Down and in and Under the Chin" popped into my head. All of a sudden I started to hit straighter shots, smoothed out my tempo and had a really nice last 12 holes. Good stuff. I am going to write it on my gloves!!!
Jess it appears the ball position at address is further forward than what’s considered normal for a 7 iron. Is this true? And what should we use as a guide door ball position for irons using stack & tilt. thank you
The front shoulder left shoulder for right handed golfers is the center of the swing. Any position behind the left shoulder is the back of the arc. 3 balls back is standard
Tried left shoulder down to inside the ball, right hip to target then right shoulder to inside the ball. Still managing to sway 6 inches off target. Any ideas?
I get it, but not really. I get the "down" part as being left shoulder down and then right shoulder down. I don't get what the "in" part is at all. For a senior golfer please comment on stack and tilt swing vs. “vertical line swing method “ which is more consistent shallowing the downswing.

If you're not coming over the top causing path issues, then it has to be face issue. Focus on controlling the face
