+Edward An every play the basketball game of horse? It's like that but with skate. A person does a trick and if he lands it you have to do that trick and land it. If you don't land it then you get a letter. You're trying to outplay your opponent in tricks
Thank you for all the great tutorials, Aaron. You've really inspired me to skate harder and not give up after I broke my ankle. Keep up the great skating, you're always helping us thousands of beginning skaters.
Can somebody help me? I literally do my kickflips everyday! At least 15 every time I skate. But they keep on getting REALLY good and then it progressively get worse, then good again. How the heck do I stop this and keep them good all the time?
Totally agree! I also learned that practicing consistency in this way helps you with confidence in committing to your tricks when your take them to bigger obstacles. Thanks!
I have been skating for 4 years. I can Ollie, front 180, back 180, front shuv, Shuv it, pop shuv, kickflip, Backside kickflip, almost frontside kickflip, varial flip, fakie varial flip, fakie 3 shuv, Half cab flip, trying to fakie 360 flip. Is this good?
I know I'm late and you've been skating for 5 years now and your not that good for the time you've been skating people skating for 5 years are good enough to get sponsored but those are kind of beginner. Tricks most of them attest but not bad
depends on what you are aiming at really. if you just want to have fun, it doesn't really matter how quick you go. if you want sponsor the you have to improve faster... maybe skate more frequently, once a week is not good enough, I can tell you from experience. at least twice a week for 2 hours each, that seems to allow me to progress, but it is still not great. 3 times a week is where it's good for me. maybe you are not breaking tricks into their simpler components, like it is advised in this vid - that makes a world of difference to me. and last, maybe your basic are just bad, you need to feel extremely comfortable with riding and ollies, and you might have advanced too quick at the beginning and now fear is holding you back. because you want to do something hard and everything is just way to shaky, cause the basics are not down. just a few tips, probably more for other skaters who feel like they are progressing too slow - your comment is already two years old now.
I've been skating for a couple years now and I feel so comfortable riding i can go at fast speeds turn kick turn 180 but I cant get an ollie consistently especially because of the amount of shoes I lose I cant pay for more I keep trying but im stuck
braille/Aaron i can shuvit, pop shuvit and ollie and nearly kickflip do you think thats good im 10 and ive been skateboarding for like a month and a half do you think thats good
hey braille skateboarding i always thought science needs to a psychological study on skateboarding when it comes to perfect timing and consistently landing extreme skate combos. Being in rhythm while skating is one of the most beautiful feelings ever and it's interesting to think most of it is mental.
@@sk8trboi935 Ever heard of warming up first. You dont have to step on a board and do Ollie's right away, it's always good to cruise around a bit and do some really low Ollies and work your way up. I do that with my Switch 270 flips I skate around switch for a bit and start with some switch Ollies and 180s and switch kickflips and then add it together.
agreed. The only time I don't do that is when I'm skating something big. I kinda feel like you could get stuck on the basic trick and end up hurting yourself too much to try the real trick.
This works. I started getting way better after I'd do both shuvs and both 180s every stance followed by kickflip, heelflip then both fakie and nollie bigspins, varial heel, both fakie full cabs, all the fakie and nollie 3 shuvs, then fakie kick and heel if I'm feeling hyped.
This is what nyjah Houston said he does he doesn't move on learning knew trick till he land all his routine flip trick ect in a row good tip it really is true
LOL in almost 30 years- all the sk8 pics of me, EVERY one, are frontside grinds on transition/vert...now THAT'S consistent! kidding :) anyways, as an old fella RE-LEARNING street skating- it took me a week to get my ollie up a curb back, bs slappy grinds easy, FRONTSIDE slappys took all night, boardslides took a week...MY POINT IS: skateparks ruined a lot of skating because they are designed to make it all easier...its really cool that Aaron and all u guys are skating real street!
I skate everyday, for about 5-6 hours... but to just to make myself clear, I HAVE NEVER HATED WINTER AS MUCH AS I DO NOW! I wanna move to Florida, or Cali :( Im so stoked about have kickflips down on lock, its only been 7 months :P
You say it would be good to skate everyday. I can do this but only at like 6 AM. Do you reckon that is too early to skate/ to early to annoy my neighbors?
I haven't skated for 2 days, and my ollies are crappy. I can do frontside 180 still. But my ollies they're just bad. Either i land really bad, or my ollies wont be so high.
same thing happened to me when I started but I think It just the fact that you've stopped for 2 days and then came back the feeling is not the same. You thought ur ollie was pretty high 2 days before u reskated and then when u came back the same exact ollie feels small. I think its just part of ur ollie progress cus that means u wanna try to get them higher and then without even realizing it ur gonna be popping stairs and stuff =).
Hi guys,i have been skating for 2 months,i have down really good:ollie,shove,pop shove,frontside 180,backside 180 sketchy,kickflip,(i skate everyday)i'm going good?
Ben shakes Thank you!yesterday i landed heelflip and 360 flip,and i ollied a 3 and a 4 stair,and i also made a kickflip down 1 stair,im keep progressing!
Aaron can u make the tricks that u have to go threw after the ollie fs180 bs180 pop shuvit fs pop shuvit heelflip and kick flip cause i was wondering i already started varial kickflip and heelflip i was wondering what comes after that thanks
hey i actually do the same exact thing you are talking about before you made this video and i still have trouble with some tricks such as my bs flip and bs heels but im getting better at them but i just wanna know if their is another approach to like another way to that i can add or whatever
if u just cant get varial heels like me i found out u don't shuv ur back foot like a fs shuv but u put it in the back left pocket (regular) and just pop.
yoooo i do this to every time i go out for a sesh i do every ollie then every shuv then i do all kickflip variations then some heel stuff then i go for newer stuff and my friends think im wierd lol
what about if you eat shit like you fall of a 5ft ramp and distroy your body I done that once i died and it was on the same day i flyed into a ramp cuz a stone got in the way
I go out to skate, ok i need to practice what I know... *does ollie* ok there we go.
+DrTot what you don't warm up with some walking before you ollie?
Great Idea
lol
Tappy ahahaha it's okay
Same
This is one of my all time favorite videos from you, I watch this everyday no joke. very helpful.
Are you still watching this video every day?
When I go skateboarding with my friends, we always do a Warmup Game of SKATE
How does that game work?
+Edward An every play the basketball game of horse? It's like that but with skate. A person does a trick and if he lands it you have to do that trick and land it. If you don't land it then you get a letter. You're trying to outplay your opponent in tricks
Last year I watched this video on my bday and went out and landed my first kickflips!!!! Thanks for this video

U should check out cristopherchann he has two videos on how to get better and skateboarding and getting ur tricks good each time
I might have seen it. I'll re watch it and see I that solves my problem.
Anthony Moore same problem no doubt. like wtf is up with that?
polite sir for real.
Lol it sounds like you are just getting tired. Just run a mile every day you'll be able to skateboard for hours without being inconsistent.
Do you have a video for flipping out of grinds?
Rip old Braille
John Budders wym?

@@apetska4817 you know this comment is 4 years old right?
@@johnbumper2724 yes i do
once i learn tricks I do 100 of them every day. you get super consistent really fast

You’re straight 💯
Im only doin ollie, shove it and frontside 180,its only 7 month 😓
I am very new to skating and you are the biggest tip person of skating in my life
this is your best tutorial video, because thats what skateboarding is all about :)
Love this
Thats awesome, landed my first heelflips today :D
Cruising-Ollie-BS 180-FS 180-Pop Shuvit-Front Shuvit-Heelflip-Bigspin-Hardflip-NO COMPLY 180
I do ollie kickflip front 180 back 180 pop shove front shove then try it switch then I'm trying to learn tres now
Everything you said is so true. I do exactly what you said but I still struggle with nollie tricks.
thanks Aaron! you're the man! vids help heaps! keep it up
by far the funniest profile pic ever
I've been skating for a couple years now and I feel so comfortable riding i can go at fast speeds turn kick turn 180 but I cant get an ollie consistently especially because of the amount of shoes I lose I cant pay for more I keep trying but im stuck
thank you AARON KYRO

bad ass shifty kickflip at the end
I can have one day where I'm skating quite good and i can wake up the next day and feel like I'm starting from the beginning again.
I can ollie good one day then I wake up and can't ollie then I gotta try like 10 more tries before I can do it again

The 5-0 back 180 out on the ledge was so sick , I never seen that trick before
I always practice the tricks i know in the beginning of my sessions
Lol I read this as "how to get consent"
BabyThor Gaming step one: don't.
that'd be their most viewed video
and you clicked it
Good advice. I skate exactly the same way. Sometimes I get stuck on a trick and I refuse to move on until I land it. That drives me nuts!

I do the Kickflip the five stair thing but i just Ollie my local six, seriously helps and it shows surprisingly quickly!
this is the reason why aaron never misses a trick
What is your rank in skateboarding, what area are you from?!
This is a very good point, I'll try it
After doing this for one day it helps SOOOO much. Even with grind tricks
This is what nyjah Houston said he does he doesn't move on learning knew trick till he land all his routine flip trick ect in a row good tip it really is true

Can you show, how the GoPro is mounted? , I mean I also use the Headstrap but I don't get that good view you have there.
I only land 1 in 10 Ollie’s. I know there simple but there so hard for me. I practice every day and honestly don’t know what to do
You say it would be good to skate everyday. I can do this but only at like 6 AM. Do you reckon that is too early to skate/ to early to annoy my neighbors?

Haha, i think you are very right! Thank you :) Actually my highest ollie is 8'' and i've done a few of those :)
Thank you! I will try that from now on :)
The only tricks I used to know how to do is Ollie and pop shuvit. So now I can do a pop shuvit with my eyes closed every time.
Thanks Aaron! Really Helps...
Can you make a trick tip on how to do tricks out of manuals/5-0s?
Dude that backside shifty flip
those first person view helped me out!!
I've been practicing my kickflips consistency and now even if I'm stiff or something than I can still do a kickflip
YOU HAVE GREAT STYLE!!!!!!!
He's geting old eh. He's a beast back then. That kickflip 5 0 kickflip out and that kickflip crook was sick!

Ben shakes obviously i skate every day
How many times should i do each trick?
Aaron Kyro you should compete in Street League :)
Nah. Aarons good but not street leauge good.
+baconator2582 Agreed. Chris Chann is good enough tho
+Vivek Y. Not really, he doesn't skate handrails, they base the points off of handrails like 60% of the time.
MrCJduo good point. he skates ledges but they don't have ledges in street league
thats what i do and that is how i got consistent with my kickflips
hey Aaron just wanted to say your my favorite skater ever and I getting a set up like yours hope to talk to u later ;)
Your very clean man
can u do a trick tip on how to inward or varial heelflip
Aaron can u make the tricks that u have to go threw after the ollie fs180 bs180 pop shuvit fs pop shuvit heelflip and kick flip cause i was wondering i already started varial kickflip and heelflip i was wondering what comes after that thanks
kickflip shifty over rail was sick as fuck
hey i actually do the same exact thing you are talking about before you made this video and i still have trouble with some tricks such as my bs flip and bs heels but im getting better at them but i just wanna know if their is another approach to like another way to that i can add or whatever
You make the best vids
can you teach us how to kickflip down stairs
your great man
I do a game of SKATE whenever I'm with my friends to get my flatground tricks down first.
if u just cant get varial heels like me i found out u don't shuv ur back foot like a fs shuv but u put it in the back left pocket (regular) and just pop.
aaron u should have personel channel and keep this one for tutorials
THAT SPOT YOU WERE IN IN THE BEGGING, THATS IN SKATE 3 AT THE PIERS... THATS NEAR A BEACH RIGHT?
Can you make a how to shuv out of a boardslide? My trucks always get caught when i try. Like so he can see.
TOTALLY!
Hands down
good tips man
Yeah, That has got to suck. I live in Minnesota with 5 inches of snow. :P

QUAD KICKFLIP!!!!
@sprocker7 what model jeans were you wearing while doing your ledge tricks? 2:30-ish
aryon can u make a how to bs 180 vid pleaze
i learned bs 5-0 like 2 months ago and it still takes me a shit bunch of tries to land it... i have bs 50-50 no problem..

You also can play a skate with some guys for practacing your tricks...sorry for my bad english, I'm from germany :D
I wanna see him battle it out at the berrics!
Its actually happening now...
where was that one skate spot with the ledge?
I go through all tricks I know first I start with the easiest then go to the hardest and I stay on that trick till I land it
Florida weather ftw
what about if you eat shit like you fall of a 5ft ramp and distroy your body I done that once i died and it was on the same day i flyed into a ramp cuz a stone got in the way
Can't wait for snow to melt.
Isn't a front side or back side 180 kinda like sex change180?
That kickflip at the end was super shifty
How do you get in a contest
I can only skate at my moms on the weekends because at my dads the concrete is crap and there’s no skate spots
Oh shit that real master? Coommmeee X-game or other skate :P
