Washington will be the surprise team of the season. A lot of people will question who’s actually the generational talent between Caleb and JD. A lot of analysts have JD as best QB out of the draft. We will see. Caleb set up better

Washington will be the surprise team when people are wondering how they drafted Daniels over Maye. They will continue to be one of the worst teams and severely underperform

@@MohrWeight McCarthy won't touch this field this year and will be a career journeyman at best. JD is just RG4 and may have a good season or two before breaking all of his glass bones and retiring. Williams and Maye will emerge as mainstays in the league. Maye will emerge onto a better team than he had in college, he's used to an awful supporting cast. Maye might not have the best rookie career but he will have a better career than Daniels, no question. Even then Daniels is not inheriting a great situation and will have a middling season at best
The last 5-ish minutes of this segment is why I love it when Tom subs in
Austin ekeler is not washed. Dude missed 5 games last year and the whole offense was new and sucked. Look what he did just two seasons ago 😂
If you watched the games he was available last year you can see he’s lost a step no doubt

He really does. Any reasonable person can look at the moves made last year and realize EB was a mistake and made zero adjustments, line play was garbage but they were a run first team every year before that and suddenly EB asked decent run blocking players to pass block 50 times a game, and finally ...the defense has sucked the entire time Del Rio was there because he refuses to keep pressure on. The minute we got any kind of lead, he started playing prevent and zone. That entire garbage pile of a coaching staff went the way of Dan Snyder so they almost HAVE to be better.
Commanders will have a wild card spot.

You didn't see they forgot how to tackle? They were 30th ranked overall. The offense finished horribly but still finished ranked top 8.
And then the team didn't even win the SB in 2022. Obviously, that was not the right formula, so why are you telling them to basically run it back? No, they need to do better than 2022.

Offensively we loss smith for the Cardinals game and the last game against the giants, he balled out for 9 catches 148 against Tampa, we lost AJ brown early in that giants game and he wasn't medically cleared to play. That was on sirianni to run the football more with Swift who put up great numbers all season with low touches. He went to the bears I know he's going to do great over there, Saquon will do great for us and will be on the field almost every down unless he needs a breather. Both AJ and Smith had 1000 yards receiving. Hurts going to ball out all season
Other thing for the Giants is the offensive line. They allowed the most sacks in the league since 1986. It has to be better
Dallas's issue last season was a very predictable, one trick offense. Without googling it, who was second in receiving yards For Dallas? Dak to CeeDee was all they did, this is why they lost to good teams all season. So predictable that even Joe Barry could figure out how to stop it, once CeeDee was taken away McCarthy and Dak panicked and kept trying to force it to CeeDee.
Green Bay was the worst possible matchup for Dallas. GB's offense was opposite of Dallas, a very spread out and unpredictable offense, Love had 4100+ passing yards yet no WR had over 800 receiving yards. Also Matt Lafleur uses a very complex scheme for the O line, which totally shut down the Cowboys pass rush (Love had all day to throw). By the time Dan Quinn adjusted for one thing, GB was doing something else, he was overwhelmed and froze like a deer in headlights and resorted to blitzing over and over and Love was one of the best QBs against the blitz (second I think, in the last 6 games of the season).
Ya they figured out that CeeDee always runs the slant when in the slot and Cooks always runs the return route when on the field side. Very predictable. McCarthy needs to add wrinkles to his playcalling

Probably because it's just the easy way out, but it's very surprising why Washington isn't getting more respect at this point. The organization as a whole has been turned upside down and improved at every level, more specifically the front office on down. It's too easy for pundits to write it off to "it's Washington, they'll suck again". Up to DQ to change it I guess, no one will give it to them at this point
a reminder that alongside mccarthy and prescott, both back up quarterbacks, ceedee lamb, and brian flores' contracts all end this upcoming season
For the Eagles, The end of last season was proof that Matt Patricia was locker room poison. I looked like he was trying to take over the defense and when he was given it, they crashed.
Brockman...your team is probably picking 1st overall next year...slow the Commanders hate. I can't hammer the over on 6.5 wins harder on the Commanders.

The Patriots had the same exact record as my team, so they were no better or no worse. But we have a better roster than the Patriots. We beat the Patriots head to head last season. So by that logic a bad team beat a worse team. But guess what? We're not going to be the same team this year. Literally not the same team because we've turned over the majority of the team. Not to mention the additions from the draft. Chief among the additions being Jayden Daniels. So yeah Brockman making snide remarks about my team any time they're mentioned pisses me off just a little. Good or bad the season will tell me all I need to know.
