This is my tutorial on how to OTO a VCV UTAU voicebank. I hope this UTAU Tutorial wasn't too complicated and was hopefully simple and easy. I decided to do this tutorial as +Ai Shakurai said it would be a great thing to do a tutorial on! I really hope this was useful and didn't waste anyone's time!!

Ah, I did that for my 1st VCV vb. It's actually a waste of time, to time your recordings as perfect as you can to the other vb. Taking their oto is fine though, but you have to modify on your own or it might count as stealing. Configuring is tough work. For VCV, you want the ratio for the overlap & preutterance to be 1:3 (I personally like 83:250) & then put the preutterance where you would in a CV: the beginning of the vowel of the syllable. ^-^ For beginning notes, mmh, otoing them like CV is fine, I normally have my vowel beginnings (ex [- a]) as like 0:50 since the overlap isn't really needed since there is no beginning. I hope this helped you!

It would be nice to see tutorials that actually teach you how to oto VCV, rather than just mimicking an existing Voicebank. Depending on the bank this can be called stealing, also, it would take way longer to time your recordings with another Voicebank... plus if I only did things that way, then I'd be totally dependent on others than being able to do it myself....

.....Serparam would help you to oto any VCV simply...it can infer oto automatically...base on your sampleBPM and voice begining time in sample.....just try it!
Well all I know is my multipitch banks that I'll be working a while on will take even longer to release. 0-0 oh well. I have to do my best! Thanks for helping~ I will try to oto it differently since i'm bad at timing.
so i got sent a private vcv and im not sure how to do only a single vocal instead of the full multi thing im just confused i have seen the CV oto one you did but im still not sure

like when I get them its like ra-ru-ra-ro-ra (ends usually the longest) and im just trying to get it by itself without choping it up into bits because its already been otoed and everything when I got it but i cant just add it in because multiple vocals are in one track
+Exotic butters it's supposed to be recorded like that. You have to press the multiple button in the OTOing settings and make a second file for the same wav file. I really think you shouldn't oto a VCV UTAU if you've never done it before
yeah i haven't atleast not very well at it do you have anything about that its alittle different for a CV im pretty sure and what do you mean about a second file your suppose to chop it up? oh and i have seen tutorials to otoing and i usually learn by thoes
