Nice. I have the same setting (tsn 99 / vario-smartoscope)... but my images are soft so far. So, there is more technique involved (block autofocus is the obvious one)... and some better phones out there... Thanks.

I'm using a pixel 7pro. What are the best settings?
I use the regular lens (of the 3), set to portrait mode, and zoom in. It works pretty well, but I feel it could be better.
Any suggestions?

Nice video. Is it much easier to digiscope with a straight scope, than an angled one? I struggle with a Kowa 883 and 99A, and the need for glasses (where are they when you need them?) has ruined most of my digiscoping attempts, that end up kind of blurry.

Hello Jan, this is really a matter of preference - photographers usually prefer straight, many others feel angled is more convenient!

Which camera on my phone is best for digiscoping? My phone (an iPhone) has a wide angle 0.5x, a 1x, and a 2x lens.

Either the 1x or the 2x is the best option. The 0.5x will be too wide and cause vignetting. 2x will eliminate vignetting and also increase the tele photo power. 1x is a good general option. Hope this helps!
