WHAT!!!!!! I’m from NY, went to Aviation high school and joined the Army. Hope to meet you in the Philippines Miguel. Yet another great interview. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Interesting Video. I was a professional Pilot for 45 years in fixed wing aircraft. Also have some rotor time. Yes Helicopters are a different breed and more expensive to train in. I'm also a current FAA certified flight instructor and have taught hundreds of Fledgling pilots to fly through Ab-initio flight training programs with three international airlines. Fully retired and planning on returning to the Phil this year or next year. I lived in the Philippines (Mindanao) for three years. Mark I have watched many of your videos along with Paul, Old dog new tricks and of course Ms. Pea...All great channels.
Language lessons are out there Rosetta Stone and rest mostly do Tagalog. I doubt Negros Island has Tagolog as main dialect (might be that Cebuano Bisaya is the island lingo there)...the schools do teach Tagalog and English. As a fellow metro NYC guy, wish the man luck. Big apple pace can wear a man out. I thank him for his service.
He seems to be a very nice guy. I hoped he found a right woman who would take care of him. Just as you tell him to take more time to choose the best for him. I hoped my country people would treat you well. Good luck,Sir.
Praying that U will enjoy Ur journey here in our country ❤May God bless U with graces U will be needing particularly good healthy, safety and pleasant disposition 🙏❤️
OMG I LOVE helicopters. Don't want to learn to fly them. Just like been a passenger in them. The sound copters make is awesome!!! Decades ago, when I lived in South Africa my housemate was a helicopter pilot for a hospital and whenever the copter needed a tweak or a service, he would let me know and I would meet him after work and fly with him to and from the servicing depot. Fond memories. So hope your new friend in this video is able to fulfil his dream and get his private pilot licence!! Thanks again for another good video.
Hi MARK , great interview. He seems like a nice guy. I am used to hearing TAGALOG , which has many SPANISH words in it , not sure about VIZ or CEBUA. I probably NOT mentioned how much I get every month. LOL Best of luck to him , my ex wife is from the BRONX LOL TY MARK GOD BLESS CIAO
You can drive on your foreign license for 90 days then you need to convert your foreign license to Philippines license but they don’t usually check and you can get away with years 😊
