    I have PhD in mechanical engineering, but because of spending so much time on solving complex equations and tasks in subjects like materials science and engineering mechanics I never got to the point where I actually tried to drill an actual hole into some real thing! I'm glad you gave us such a comprehensive tutorial on how to do so and I'm looking forward to drill my first hole into a useless piece of wood just for the sake of gaining some first experience within the next few weeks!

    6:00 you completely missed the point of that function. There is a little switch above the trigger to change the direction!
    Whenever you drill a hole, save the dust and put it in a small bag and store this close to the hole (or write a uuid on the bag and near the hole) and whenever you want to close the hole again, insert the drill completely into the hole, select the reverse direction and add the dust while slowly pulling the drill out of the hole.

    Awesome your drills have quite a bit of experience! Mine can even drill triangle holes or make smoke when drilling.
    Aber mal ernsthaft, da sind einige gute Scherze in dem Video und es hat mir gefallen es anzusehen. Allerdings war es doch etwas langwierig. Dabei habe ich kein Problem mit der Länge des Videos an sich, aber da hätte streckenweise mehr "impact" nicht geschadet. Mehr Scherze, schnelleres sprechen, Schnittechnik, etc. so wie z.B. bei den Videos von ThisOldTony

    • @Corbald
      @Corbald 3 роки тому +2

      One of mine leveled up last weekend! I saw the magic smoke and heard the level up music and when I pulled it out of the hole, it had transformed to a much smaller drill bit, but just on the end! Perfect for those counter-sunk holes! I experimented, as we do, and it turns out the proper formula to make your own is Harbor Freight drill bits and 1/2" hardened steel plate...
      Also @bitluni Have you tried holding the drill in your other hand? You may inadvertently purchased the left-handed variant of some of your drills. Additionally, I believe the Hammer switch is for if you are driving nails instead of drill bits.

    I suppose checking the "bite" should have drilled through my ears, but drilling two holes at once? Only you could anaesthetize my common sense so effectively.... a very nice piece of 1-4matted video contribution Herr BitLuni. (This should help some people brush up on their drill skills!) Help! I need help with my mains wiring at home.... the house is getting very hot and the thermostat is making no change!
