      me sucede exactamente lo mismo, vuelvo despues de 10 años, y aa lo que han producido cada uno de ellos por separado, el set qque hizo Mullaert en el Lighthouse Festival es impresionante en too sentido, lo que produce a nivel orgánico, sensorial y musical, saludos desde argentina.

  • @rhythmdroid
    @rhythmdroid 11 років тому +14

    I'd say the BIGGEST challenge of all this is to maintain the ability to jam and improvise, but hold the music to structural moments like build-up, breakdown, and various styles of transitioning. The finishing touch of creating a "story" with an arc, with drama, with hypnosis, and with occasional harsh changes is the key to taking the "jam" into widespread commercial appeal. Ableton makes that so much easier to do. The clarity with which they explain their methods REALLY helps me understand how to implement that discipline in my own improvised sets.

    "...Nature is a wonderful place for kind of charging the batteries of accepting myself..." This is one of the most inspiring, fantastically shot on-location studio interviews I've ever watched. Thanks so much to Ableton and Minilogue for this refreshing experience, which is full of excellent advice. 12:47 is the way, the light.

    These are the coolest guys i've ever seen. Period. They don't make music to make that "Fat Banger" and sell millions of copies on beatport. They do it for themselves, for their own needs and lives. This was amazing!

    Love this approach to music production/performance, it's so organic and real, this makes hearts and bodies want to dance not because everyone else is but because you want to. "freedom is not to do whatever you want but to be free doing what you do" :)
    I'm going for a bush walk, just the inspiration I needed. Thank you!

    Very good message. A friend sent me this video to represent what he dreams of. I like the bare foot part and the nature. I walk bare foot in the garden. And about meditation - it's a state, not thing to do, hence one can be in meditation, not "meditate". :) A common misunderstanding. People are in meditation more often they realize. Especially when they make music or walk bare foot (or lay down) in garden or nature. :) Good reportage!

      I second this question, only I hadn't heard these guys before.
      I've followed at least a dozen artists who put out one amazing atmospheric track, and their whole subsequent catalogue would be mediocre deep house. Hopefully someone can recommend a few artists who are somewhat consistent :).
