I finished this second half in one sitting, and I have no regrets. I hope that Benedict will be part of the main couple next season.

I love the fact that Benedict is Bi now and it's not suprising because many fans suspected from the beginning. Hopefully we get to see more of Benedict bisexuality even though he marries Sophie. I can't wait for his season in probably a few years until season 4 comes to Netflix. The only thing that I would hate if they split it in 2 parts again.
I wasnt really interested in Penelope and Colin’s romance this season if im honest especially compared to the high bar season 2 set, but Benedict and Francesca’s storylines really saved this season for me, im so excited to see them on their respective seasons

I believe they will make season 4 for Eloise. Bc in this season they made Benedict not be ready for a relationship, so it will not be justified to be ready to marry after some months. So, maybe they will make him feel free etc, and maybe find someone to like and in s4 they will bring Philip back for Eloise. Maybe they will start to exchange letters somehow.
Sometimes you fall in love when you are in no way looking for it.
There will be masquerade next season - and that is the place Ben met his love interest☺️
and besides - Anthony at the end of 1st season was set to find loveless but dutiful match. I guess destiny has different plans on Ben just like that too

I thought some of the kisses between Paul and Benedict were totally better than Penelope and Colin's. Really, I found the threesome's brief scenes more arousing than the main couple's. And apparently the internet lost their minds because of the 6 minute sex scene between Penelope and Colin.
Paul is such an eye candy😍😍😍😍....hope to see more of him

i love that is canonically bi, bc it means they did not do queerbaiting, but i believe they made him bi to show that love cannot be only for one person and especially for one person of the same class. Although i do hope Sophie is a man ahahah. But then he will not be able to marry and Eloise too, she will not be able to marry if Michaela is Philip. Also, in Eloise's case we already introduced to Philip her future husband.

@@yours_eve2001 Unfortunately, that's what it looks like. As a consolation, I'll add that I read a comment on Instagram with this theory: it will be Michelle and Michael, as siblings, twins. And in the end it will be Francesca with Michael. I have no idea how true this information is, but I hope the showrunners will go in this direction.
@@zuzak.995 i googled it. In the book something happens ( i wont tell you in case you do not want spoilers) and after some time she falls in love with John's cousin. Michael. But in this case, they made him Michaela because they want to represent more people. But in the book, the whole point they say of their relationship, is that Michael is in love with Fran. in secret but in the series, in the last minute, they made Fran. fall in love with her from the start and it mess is everything up. Because there is no secrecy any more.

I love Francesca and Michael's story, his struggle between his love for Fran and his sense of being fair to John. There is so much passion between them in the book! I agree with you that the end of season 3 is a mistake. I hope they get out of this somehow. 🤞🏻
I love Benedict but what why give so much screen time to Lady Tilly and his queer storyline only to take it away next season. We know it’s not going anywhere and that he’s going to end up with Sophie.. Why didn’t they explore his artistic endeavours further or how he looked after the estate while Anthony was away..
Because he feels insecure since Anthony purchased a place for him in the Art school.

That Paul has the most AMAZING eyes..........I couldn't stop staring at him,,,,,,,,,,,,but from his Insta. page, he is straight.............One slip up I found when Paul asked Benedict if he draws or paints, he said No, But in Season 1 he did go to a school to draw......Also, for that era, she would not have used the phrase " whatever the ' sex'...........They would have said ' gender '....................Just my view.......................a hot episode with the three of them......, love the Paul guy.................
I think the point of saying he doesn’t draw is to show how disconnected he is from that part of himself. He left art school because his brother paid for him to get in and now he has sort of given up and lost his passion with art, so he wants to be separated from it.

I just love where they are going with this. Don't get me wrong I read the books and I do like Sophie but I need something different to spice things up a little. I am more than happy to have Francesca and Benedict be queer and then continue on with Eloise, Gregory and Hyacinth as normal❤
I just hope they don't change Sophie into a man like they did to Micheal, there story is my favourite and it does discuss imoportant themes like abuse and trauma, and I don't want them to through that all the way because they think they have to make a lead gay. P.S saying this as someone who is gay.
As someone's who's bisexual, I agree, a bisexual man can definitely end up with a women and a little unrelated but I actually love that they did gender switch Michael because there's not much WW rep on TV. Though I was sceptical at first because of her wanting to be pregnant or a kid but there are still ways to achieve that, even if she will never be birth or maybe before John dies. But anyway they can adopt and her living as lady kilmartin and the cousin living together will not be seen as scandalous, not immediately anyway

Eloise's husband is supposed to be named Philip, he was the one who married lady Marina in season 1. Not Michael. I do not know how they will make him meet her. Bc i thought too that they will make Eloise be with Michaela but in every season they will make the siblings marry, so Eloise cannot get marry with Michaela.

it's a pity they decided to make him look for himself in bed, and not in art...after what you made of his character in 3 season, do not want to watch his story anymore, because it is hard to believe he can be happy with Sophie, only if she will be transgender... "great job", had nothing against LGBT community and people who are different, but with what you do, taking books and changing it, you do not increase tolerance, but the opposite...
They made Benedict bi, therefore he can still end up with Sophie - he's still attracted to women. Why would Sophie have to be trans (besides the fact, if she was, she would still be a woman)?
As a bi person though, I have mixed feelings about Benedict's queerness being revealed through a threesome, because it feels stereotypical, but it does make some sense in terms of where his character is at the moment.
The show changed quite a lot of stuff, not just the queer storylines. They definitely toned down the plot about Daphne taking advantage of Simon in season one, because it was a lot worse in the book. Sometimes the books need changing, it's not always for the worse.

As on advid lover of bridgerton, I must say, that I was very disappointed with the turn of events regarding the 3 way sex scene. It took Bridgerton Season three from being lovely and intimate, to RAUNCHY and unnecessary. I read the novel Romancing Mr. Bridgerton and this was in no way mentioned or thought of in this storyline. I may have to rethink Bridgerton support if this disgusting, tasteless storyline continues.
