These were the biggest disappointments for me from this past year and ones I wouldn't recommend anyone trying ... however, do keep in mind that what works for me may not work for you and what doesn't work for me may work for you! We are all different and that's what keeps the world so interesting! Right? :)

Zabrena, I know you love nude lipsticks but WOW the color you are wearing today is your color. Your whole makeup look today is just gorgeous and enhances your natural beauty so well.
Agree she is stunning today(well, every day of course) - hair and makeup are not just on point they are show stopping today.
Believe it or not, the best cream blushes I've ever used are from Believe (Dollar General brand) and they're about $3!! They knocked my Fenty cream blushes completely out of the game!

Yes, sometimes the price really doesn’t matter. Some of the cheapest products are sometimes really really great.
They have a peachy color corrector that I was hoping would be as good as the Benefit....it is so much better!!! $4 too!!! I've loved every Believe Beauty product I've tried!!!
The wet n wild breakup proof liquid liner is actual wonderful, but the pencil version was awful. Not sure why they even bothered releasing the pencil! I've used up and repurchased the liquid liner 3 times now and actually bought backups just in case they cancel it. For only $4 it's almost bulletproof on me! ♡
I have the pencil liner and on my waterline it stays black all day. I love mine.

I loved the Maybelline Nudes of NY palette way more then their previous offerings but then again, I have really dry eyelids so it didn't crease on me or anything. 🥰 I agree with a lot of the other products you mentioned though!

Ditto! Love the mustardy tan color surprisingly! I really like that palette, dry skin here too.
I tried essence lash princess because so many people raved but it was awful for me. Maybe its having hooded lids but it smudged like crazy. Same for lash paradise. Everyone raves but I thought it dried up and started clumping after the first month
I have similar issues. The other thing that prevents smudging for me is using a clear brow mascara on top of mascara but even that is hit and miss. What mascaras work for you?
Yes girl the lash paradise is horrible stuff on me too! Don't get the hype!
I don't have hooded eyes, and it was also horrible on me): I really wanted to love it but I found the formula too wet and it just made my lashes kinda stick together/: I tried their Extreme mascara in the pink tube and I love it! Since they're so cheap it gives room to play around and maybe find one of their many mascaras that will work for you!
Hate all essence mascaras that I’ve tried. Didn’t see the big whoop.
I have hooded oily eyelids, Lash paradise smudged under my eyes terrible, Lash Princess tho i love, i recently bought the waterproof version too. I think using the essence eyeshadow primer helped to stop my oils smudging it. So it can be our prep that causes smudging sometimes.
I don’t know if it was just my area, but I felt like a substantial percentage of the drugstore makeup I bought this year was already expired, or somewhat “off.” I can see why drugstores had something better to do than pull old lipsticks and put new ones in, but it was still a waste of money.
I had to laugh at your disgust at the Covergirl Foundation. I’ve walked past it a million times like ohh I’ll.. oh wait I remember Zabrena hated this stuff. It’s a no. 😂😂. Your recommendations are usually spot on for me
I’m 66 and I love it!! Doesn’t settle into my fine lines wrinkles, or pores. I don’t use a primer and just put it on with my fingers. I have never gotten so many compliments!
If you have dry skin, drier than the desert that skin milk is everything! I also like to mix it with my thicker foundations to make it more absorbable for my skin type. LOVe your videos girl! Been watching for a while 💙
Dry skin here too and the Skin milk has been everything for my skin! Actually, for me the longer it’s on and the more it sinks into my skin the better it looks. I especially love their powder from that line. Typically, I hate covergirl though. It does something for dry or sensitive skin that’s really great foundation wise.

The new Milani Cheek Kiss cream blushes (the flat ones, not the ones in the tubes), and the ELF Putty Blushes, are both really fantastic drugstore cream blushes. The Milani ones are a bit more dewy than the ELF ones. The ELF blushes are almost like a cream-to-powder formula.
Can you believe that maybelline eyeshadow won the allure best of beauty award 🤯 this is why I trust you. And yes! Magnetic lashes were a complete fail for me too.

The KISS magnetic eye lash kit and the Maybelline Cheek Heat liquid blush are the two products others have mentioned. Thank God, I watched this video because I nearly bought the Cheek Heat today at CVS.

I totally agree on quite a few of these! Had to toss the Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk, Maybelline Cheek Heat Cream Blush, and several Almay eyeshadow quads.

I received 2 popular pallets in March as a gift. I have not stopped using the james charles pallet since. I have tried picking up others but always go back to JC. Its just perfect. All the colors, pigment, wear time, blending. I cant stop using it- its not just a favorite -its a staple now. BTW-todays look on you is GORGEOUS - you look amazing!

City lips lip plumper is fabulous!! I don't know of it's really plumping but my lips look so much better using it and in the area where I've lost pigment it has brought it back and I think that makes a big difference. Honestly though you have fabulous lips already!
Wet n wild has been lack luster this year. You should try the shopmissa paw paw liquid concealer it’s so good!
The nyx concealer I was so excited about but such a major fail.
Love your videos! For me, the larger Profusion eye shadow palette. Ugh. Was a mess. The glitter shadows swatched like glitter glue on my arm and was even worse to apply.
Elf camo concealer would be my pick. Everyone was going on and on about how great it was and I found it extremely disappointing. Casey and horrible to blend, just awful waste of money.
I would also agree about the Kiss eyelash kit. I didn’t lose any magnets lol, but they kept lifting on the inner corner 😔

I have been so enjoying drugstore December💕😊 I love Pacifica's products especially their skin care since they use more natural non-toxic ingredients. I also love their Stellar Gaze mascara and their liquid cover concealer. I'm sorry that their eye liner smudged so badly like that but would love to see you try some more of their products😊 I hope you have a blessed Christmas, Zabrena!🎄❤

I have never found a Pacifica product that I've liked. I want to SO MUCH because of what the brand represents, but omg.. the shadows, the lippies.. it's all dreadful quality in my experience.

My sister used the kiss magnetic liner and eyelashes and she loved and it worked for her.
Nooooo, the Kiss magnetic lashes are some of my favorite!! There is a learning curve, you have to shake it and apply 3-4 coats to get it to stay on, but I've loved mine. 😁 Isn't it crazy how different things work so differently for people?
I love them too! It sounds like she just had bad luck. I noticed that I have to put on a thicker line of eye liner than normal but I have better luck with these than the glue on kind.

On the plumping lip gloss not working, I have some colourpop ones in squeezy tubes and they definitely do! They don’t terrorize your lips, they feel pleasant, but they still noticeably plump them. The only thing is you need to apply some more on top every few hours if you want the effect to stay because they absorb into the skin

I loved your video! Have you seen Maybelline Color Strike eye shadow tubes? They SO need to be added to your list!! The idea is fantastic, something easy to travel with but wow! No pigment to the colors!! I bought two, one had an applicator broken so no way to reach the eye shadow!! What a waste of money!!
I love the magnetic lashes from Arishine ordered thru Amazon. I have been able to not just use but reuse the lashes and they stay in place. The liner looked good and stayed in place too.
I tried the kiss magnetic lashes. I found them so much easier to apply than normal lashes but the magnet also came off on mine too. I’ve just ordered some from Ardell to try.
The Maybelline eyeshadow is a perfect example of why it is really nice to get an all day wear test. A lot of shadows fade significantly. Thank you!

Wow, I love my Break up proof liner. I have the pencil and liquid liner. I use them both all the time
No -not just your experience with the kiss lashes and liner! Mine also lost a magnet and kept popping up at the corners and peeling up the magnetic mascara. I switched to the other drugstore magnetic one (Ardell?? I'm not at home to check) and love it to pieces - will never fight strip lashes and glue again.
That's interesting, I really love the Almay quads, but I only use the white. I like the variety for my brow highlight.
I remember loving Almay as a girl in middle school, Junior High (early-mid 2000’s). I do remember liking their bb cream for oily skin last year.

I had the same issue with the Cover Girl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation and I typically have dry skin in the winter and normal during the summer.

I personally didn't like the Maybelline waterproof mascara the one that is silver and purple, I heard that it worked on others but it didn't work out for me because it was so smudgey, I actually agree with you about the lip plumpers because I never see any difference, I enjoyed your videos today as always, I can't wait for tomorrow's video❤

Thought the same thing about both the CG Skin Milk and the Cheek Heat cream blush, they had just vanished after several hours of wear. Tried several different primers trying to get better wear and it just wasn’t happening. Oh well, at least it wasn’t an EXPENSIVE mistake! Have a lovely holiday, see you in 2021😊

I love the Almay eyeshadow quads, I have noticed most stores that carry Almay don't have them anymore, maybe they are discontinued. Oh well to each his own (I've stocked up on my favorite shades)
My two worst of 2020 was the aesthetics liquid liner I got in the fab fit fun box. It flaked, it smudged, it bled. Only good thing about it was that it was easy to remove.
My other disappointment was the flower beauty light illusion concealer, after a couple of months it started thickening up in the tube and then became cakey on the skin as well as darkening a bit so the match was off, but when new it was great.
Yeah.. The only Almay eyeshadow brick I actually like was the stark white one.. I use it as a highlighter. Lol
That CG has been a constant dislike by everyone I have seen review it, plus IRL.

Try the Natural Vitality drink powder (my fav is Cherry). You can find it on Amazon. It's similar to something I remember you using at the end of the day. I use it cold (labeled for warm), but it really helps get you through the day. Helps you sleep more soundly at night. If it continues, even with the drink, talk to your doctor and get some labs done.

I'm shocked about your review of maybelline nudes of NY! It's basically the only neutral pallet I have used this year. I'm also a greasy skin girl. I've had many other maybelline palletes and they were basically unusable. Guess it just goes to show that everyone has different experience with makeup and you cant judge a product my someone else experience. Anyway you're awesome and always enjoy watching!
I saw those Almay quads in Big Lots over six months ago and now I know why. I didn't even give them a second glance. Their blushes with star imprints that I also found in Big Lots, however are really good.
Not new but new to me in 2020 was Milani Rose Blush in Coral Cove, so vibrant in the pan but very powdery and sheer on my skin so I need to build it up quite a bit and I'm pale.
Thanks for this video! Yah, the Pacifica cannabis mascara was Terri me, flaky, smudgy and transfers after an hour! Then also I did try the cheek heat from mabelline, no color and no wearing longevity

The worst thing i tried was the cover girl exhibitionist mascara. The slightest hint of my eye watering would send that thing melting everywhere. I never buy waterproof mascaras and have never had that problem before.
Yes!! I took this to Disney and everyday was a raccoon day.
The waterproof version also runs on me horribly after 6 or 7 hours of wear.
I had the exact same problem with the Wet-n-Wild pencil, and I returned it!
So many influencers are hyping up the Nudes of New York so I'm glad someone with oily skin actually did a wear test warned us about it. The amount of effort you put in makes you a true professional rather than just another bubbly pretty girl influencing us to buy and buy and buy.
I am with you on the Almay eye shadow quad. I bought a few in the very beginning of 2020 and they were terrible!! Very poor pigmentation. Have you done a drug store best/worst make up setting sprays? Thanks Zabrena =D
