I just bought Dior white Julie bucket bag, draw string similar to Chanel 22 mini but super cut and better quality , I wear it daily since I bought it, my perfect summer bag this summer.
@@JesuisLou ahhh, well they found 2 dior manufacturers in italy with chinese people working in disgusting conditions and sleeping in the factory, making a 58 dollar bag then sold for 2,800. But its all over the news you can look for it. Thanks.
Just went to look it up! It’s honestly disgusting to hear, all luxury fashion houses seem to make the same type of practices, Loro Piana, Chanel, etc :/ I don’t think I have enough information and knowledge regarding the topic to make a full video and actually contribute something that has not been said already, but being now aware of it it’s something to definitely consider moving forward.
@@JesuisLouI think enough have been said on the issue, I don’t know people need to hear your thoughts on this, it’s obvious that Dior neglected to check the subcontractor. Dior will continue and people will continue to buy their bags.
@@h.herzog5299 unfortunately this is what always happens with these scandals, unless it’s something like balenciaga it just ends up dying down. However there is a lot to say about the fact that it’s not only Dior doing this, but pretty much every luxury brand, the fact that it has not come out and been a topic but I’m almost sure that just a handful of companies have acceptable working conditions & their items are worth the price. I’ve been following a guy on TikTok that buys these handbags and rips them apart to inspect the quality and gives a ballpark price on what he thinks the cost of producing is vs the selling price. It’s eye opening
