I'm curious as to why so many Baha'i singers sing with their eyes closed.
My reason is they're singing words of God, they're praying and thus, feeling that communion.
They are meditating on what they are saying
It's a sign of respect and reverse, and a way of cutting out the world around, so that they can connect on a deeper level to the world within. In Persia, where friends chant any prayers, they always have their eyes closed. Children are also taught to do the same from early age. Not sure if your comment here was a genuine case of curiosity, or criticism! I'd like to think that it was the former. Wish you well.
