What year is your Jeep? Mine is a 2006 which is Midnight Blue Pearl. I think all the pervious years were Patriot Blue. There are some websites that you can put in your VIN and it will give you your Jeep build which will include the paint code. So, maybe yours is not the blue he painted those doors.

Mine is an 02, definitely the right color, Patriot Blue. What he painted matches what’s under my dash (paint that never saw sunlight).
