As someone who was on campus post-Archie, defense was what we went to games to watch. Gentle Ben was a joy to watch, and rest of D line was solid. They just usually spent too much time on the field.
The difference will be venue. It’s a revenge game for LSU as well, and it’s also gonna determine the rest of LSUs season. They are going to be playing out of their minds. Not sure kiffin is ready for that. LSUs defense has also gotten a lot better. If Tre Harris doesn’t play, it could get ugly. Another major thing nobody is paying attention to is who LSU benched. The only guys that have gotten burnt were Major Burns and Sage Ryan and they have both been rightfully benched in favor of much better DBs. Javen Toviano and Deshawn Spears look them up. This is NOT the same defense LSU started the year with. Not even close
Correct also LSU D Line is one of the best in Nation averaging 4 sacks a game I look for LSU to force key turn overs and making them pay On Offense if Durham is ready to go LSU has to many weapons and Ole Miss doesn't have any defensive threat that LSU has not yet seen give me the tigas in this one
Ole Miss is superior. The advantages LSU have are its a night game at home. They are rested coming off a bye while this is ole miss 7th straight game and they are really banged up. Should be interesting.
They are better in pretty much every metric i have seen. LSU is good though. If the game was in Oxford it would be a wrap. Refs and drunk rabid cajuns could make it interesting.
@@monkeyglocks I wouldn't expect anything else. Neutral field Ole Miss wins easily. That place is going to be a zoo. Ole Miss is only a small favorite for partially that reason.
Blake Baker will bring the heat early and often. Jones and Swinson are killers off the edge. ast year nolen (a7m) and prince (uf) both played against LSU. They had a combined ONE tackle and ZERO sacks. Just sayin
LSU has a far better offense and Quarterback . Ole Miss a slight better defense but it won't matter LSU offense will have their way. Ole Miss will attack and keep up the first half the difference is this LSU defense D Line is on for the best in the nation they average 4 sacks a game and force a ton of turn overs. That will be the key difference in this game is that LSU will force key turnovers and then the noise and it being a night game in Tiger Stadium I have to count on LSU making Ole Miss pay. #geauxTigers
You guys are not wrong about the team comparisons but just keep in mind, this will be Ole Miss' 2nd consecutive SEC road game and 7th consecutive game in the season while LSU is coming off of a bye week. Also keep in mind that Ole Miss has not won in Death Valley since 2008. I think in a neutral field and neutral schedule situation Ole Miss wins 4/5 times, but I given where this falls on the schedule, I think LSU has a very good shot. I think this is a coin flip kind of game; won't be surprised either way unless it's a blowout.
This was a great vid with fantastic points of view. But y’all gotta chill on the interrupting each other it is clearly pissing each other off and effecting y’all’s ability to commentate and the quality of the video. Still all love y’all are always on my slate of videos to watch for my rebs.
LSU controls the clock with run game, the Defense is evolving. LSU had been given zero respect this year. I think it will be an identity game for the tigers and a wake-up call to the nation
I 👀 all this LSU bs 🙄 Ole Miss not going to be 😴 on this game. All the talk how LSU play at home not going to hurt Ole Miss. Last year high score game cause Ole Miss didn't have D. This year play with it and see what's up
From a coaching and personal standpoint lsu has 1 advantages and that's oline. Ole Miss is better at qb, rb, wr, te, dline, lb, and db and it isn't even up for debate doubt lsu fans would argue. The only reason lsu has a chance is bc they are rested and it's in Death Valley
LSU receiving corps has FOUR players with 20+ receptions. ole miss has ONE. LSUs TE Mason Taylor has 28 receptions. rebs TE has about 15. Also LSU has played ONE less game. Not much difference between Nuss and dart's game. On defense LSU edge guys are as good as anybody.
You’re NOT better at TE, and QB is debatable with how Dart has been playing. RB is debatable with the freshman beast LSU has, your D-line is debatable because of Bo Davis and our edge rushers are playing out of their minds. And you have one good WR and he may not even play😂 also, it’s a night game in tiger stadium where LSU is coming off a bye week wanting revenge from last year. Think abt that, yall finna lose and imma laugh
Lmao buddy idk who convinced you of that but Qb dart has yards against terrible teams rb goes to LSU also with the freshman durham here’s where it gets funny wr LSU has multiple weapons that could rival Harris ole miss also hasn’t scored over 21 against good teams besides fgs the only advantage ole miss has is defense😂😂😂
I'm agreeing with everybody else what will shock Ole Miss fans is just how good LSU offense is...And I also think LSU has the better defensive line averaging 4 sacks and creating a ton of turnovers .I think both these team are equally matched but honestly see more guys going to the leagues on LSU's offense side of the ball than Ole Miss
LSU is underrated I think texas and LsU are the best teams in the SEC this year..I’ve got LSU beating ole miss.. Hope i’m wrong cause like kiffin but my gut feeling says LSU will find a way to win
Ole miss is legit a fraud😂they’ve barely been able to score over 20 points on the only 2 good p5 opponents they’ve played and I promise they haven’t went up against a offense as potent as LSU and they are coming to Death Valley 😂😂😂
As an ole miss fan, I’m very proud of our defense, defense hasn’t always been our strength in the past
That’s a bit of an understatement. Our defense historically has been laughable
Good at flopping

Brother they don’t wanna listen!
This should be best game of the week. LSU will need to play their best defensive game of the year.
Agreed. Same could be said for a OM. They haven't faced this kind of offense.
I think that loss to UK lit a fire under ole miss ass. That said the LSU crowd will be equally lit
LSU needs to have the Commissioner keep an eye on the flops that are coming this week..
Ole Miss is superior. The advantages LSU have are its a night game at home. They are rested coming off a bye while this is ole miss 7th straight game and they are really banged up. Should be interesting.
Ole Miss really isn’t that superior though. This is a very different LSU team from week one
They are better in pretty much every metric i have seen. LSU is good though. If the game was in Oxford it would be a wrap. Refs and drunk rabid cajuns could make it interesting.
@@Midwest_PickerNuss is a better qb, and our O-line is very good in pass pro. Other than that, you’re right lol

Always so very tuff at Tiger Stadium no matter what but if the Rebels are focused I think they come home with a win.
LSU better stiffen up that defense. Ole Miss can win with defense, something the SEC hasn't seen before.
LSUs defense has gotten a lot better. LSUs offense too
