So fun! 33 years ago, they wouldn’t let the ladies run the line. We protested and were told we could support the football team by baking cookies or cupcakes for the players. 🙄 My junior year, running the line switched to co-ed. But because it’s freshmen only, I never got to run it. I’m super excited my daughter is set to run it this weekend. Sic ‘em Bears!
These announcers make this seem more controversial than the Tomahawk Chop. At the end of the day, all these kids are doing is having fun and supporting their team. That’s the point of fans attending games.
It was probably way cooler a couple decades ago when everyone wasn't running with their phones in the air lol. I bet it is pretty fun though, if you're lucky enough to not get trampled
It's even more awesome when they have thousands running the line instead of a few hundred. They reduced the number as a COVID protocol this year.
It's not

It's pretty lame
They're probably OU announcers so they are gonna be that way
It’s a college tradition called the Baylor Line. They run on the field to form a line and greet the players on the field. Geez!
