While most Armed & Fabulous stories focus on women committed to fostering growth in the shooting sports, Katie Francis is the direct result of their lifelong efforts.
She's one of the youngest female shooters in the history of multi-gun events, and an inspiration to thousands of other young girls all over America. More importantly, firearms safety matters more to her than winning.
But that's not to say she doesn’t do plenty of the latter! At the Rockcastle Pro Am 3-Gun Championship, she joined members of Team Benelli to win prize money that was to be split 50-50 between the winners and the Task Force Dagger Foundation. When her older team members chose to give their winnings to her, Katie promptly turned and gave it all to the Foundation.

this is how you 1. teach your children to respect and to safely handle fire arms. 2. teach your children about self defense. 3. teach your children about respect, hard work and humility. 4. build a life long bond between you and your child based on love and respect.
amazing video. wish i would have had a dad like that and pray i can be a dad like that in the future.

Just when I have very little hope for future generations I see videos like this and feel that with a few million more Katie's we will be back to number one in the world.

Now THAT"S a great story! 40 years ago the NRA hunters safety course was taught in the little town I grew up in and thanks to my dad and the instructors there, (one of whom owned the town drugstore which sold firearms) I recieved my hunters firearms safety certificate and patch. I was 8 years old. Now, it's my nieces turn. Thanks NRA!

This is amazing stuff! A father putting his daughter in a situation to learn so much. Respect for those around her, for firearms, for "Her Self" You can see the pride and confidence she has in her self. Truly inspirational! Keep at it Katie Francis! Your Awesome!

Her Father is Awesome! He went through some of the most elite training schools I've ever seen like one, for example, portrayed on a show called, "Surviving the Cut: Army Rangers".

Katie is an excellent shooter! Probably the coolest video I've seen in a long while! My wife is a 3 gun shooter, who learned from her Dad, just like Katie Francis. I hope to have a daughter to train the way Chad did his daughter. My wife has great character and is so extroverted because of competitive shooting! Good video NRA, and keep up the good work Chad and Katie Francis!

This video made me think about my step dad. He always taught about the importance of gun safety. I remember being a kid and he took us out and allowed us to shoot a rifle. That way if we ever got curious we would ask him and not get into the guns. He's a big hunter and learned everything he knows from his dad and so on. People that want to ban guns are real ignorant to guns and gun knowledge. Guns don't make people kill another, it takes a violent mind to shoot at another human being.

Incredible young lady, and wonderful father. It takes a special kind of Dad who can teach responsibility and respect in relstion to firearms. Too many teen gangbanger wannabes have no clue as to maintain a gun much less shoot one. Katie is a wonderful motivation to other girls, and I applaud her.

Wait wait....you mean to tell me that even a CHILD can learn the safe, responsible use of firearms, and through that practice build confidence and maturity? Impossible. I'm told over and over that guns are for one thing and one thing only.

if you support the NRA, I strongly recommend you all to support National Association For Gun Rights and the American Freedom Party, the both know very well that confiscating/illegalizing assault rifles will never reduce violence.
