Great job, Mr. Francis! You are setting your daughter up for success. Proud to have you both as fellow Americans. Dad taught us all how to hunt and fish and we are, to this day, thankful. It is to bad that the sport has suffered over the years and also that the media only shows the dark side of guns. This was a great video to show anohter side and i wish more would be out there like this.
Thank you to Marie Claire for courageously showing positive aspects of legal gun ownership and responsible enjoyable shooting sports. Katie is a well informed, intelligent, compassionate, young woman who effectively expresses her beliefs about societal issues, self defense, gun control, and responsible gun ownership. Katie is an impressive young woman in many ways, not just for excelling in local, national, and international shooting activities, she is also a good student, responsible and disciplined, a good friend, a good daughter, a good citizen and a good ambassador for the USA. In one of her statements she said “a gun is a good equalizer between a woman and a man.” I believe she meant because of size and strength issues. However, I suggest that a more clear statement is that a gun is a good equalizer between a good person and a bad person. And finally, congratulations to Katie’s parents for raising a wonderful daughter.
Respect to your father for teaching you how to safely handle a firearm, hunt if needed, shoot for fun/competition and be able to defend your home, your property, your life and other people's life as well. You have the right attitude and outlook. I will be teaching my daughter the same.
