@@Hard.Clipping I just had the boss ds-2 for doing the typical frusciantesque solos, but never owned an overdrive or fuzz, now with the boss sd-1 and a while of finding the right sound I love it to use it, same goes for my rusty fuzz by tc electronic, which is also pretty good😃
Much appreciated though I tend to prefer straight tube amp clipping such as with my Vox AC4TV (12AX7 pre and EL 84 power section). With that said I do have a. 80’s vintage HM 2. What amp and settings did you use in this demo? Thanks again for your time and effort.
I think you could improve presentation by telling us which guitar and ampli you're using. (humbucker ? single coil ? clean channel ?). Thx to share your knowledge.
Thanks for your feedback, for amp, I record through interface right to mac, where I use cleanish fender modeling. For guitar I dont remember for older videos which I used, but I think this one is with Ibanez FRM300. I will start to writing it into description for the new ones.

If you tinker, you can get pretty close to the Super Overdrive pedal with just the DS-1.
Yeah, you can make them sound almost the same (I call it bad monkey phenomenom), but also very different.
To me the SD-1 sounds best😃

Yeah I also like rusty fuzz, its based around boss pedal too (fz-3 I think)

Fuzz sounds best when followed by an overdriven circuit, either an overdriven amp or an overdrive pedal.
