- These are some some of my favorite drills to do when I am at the gym with some down time. Rather than just sitting around I can improve on some basic skills.
Some of the drills take practice but once you are able to do them you will notice a big change in your movements when rolling.
I started doing these solo BJJ drills when I was 15. I am a strong believer that they really do help your game out a lot!
When I first started doing some of these drills like going inverted I would get frustrated. But after taking time and really dedicating myself to learn the technique I noticed a big jump in my game.

Chad - I'm a 47yr. old white belt with very limited flexibility. I really enjoyed these 8 warm-ups. I'll take all the helpful suggestions I can get. I "liked" it and am now subscribed! Thanks so much. 😆
Jamie Rossi are you still doing Jiu Jitsu?
Right there with you.45 and training off an on.
You need to practice and get some yoga for Flexability!

Chad,
Thank you for your great videos!! I'm new to BJJ, like 1 month new. Right now I need all the help that I can get. Thanks for breaking down these important drills. I can feel my guard improving already.
Please keep up the great work Sir.
Cheers
Great drills - really well explained. Very practical for this current period where no gym training possible. Thanks for the help.
I'm a few months into BJJ and there were definitely some helpful pointers especially going inverted
Awesome drills I really needed it, I'm 41 and need to get my hip mobility on point. This helps so much.
Best explanation I've heard of the hip escape! Solid instruction & clear audio ✊ #Oss
you shoot in on him ALL YOU CAN!!!! I cant believe the internet was right about BJJ!!! Thats so cool!!! everyone needs a special sport!
I’m working on being able to invert, and touch my feet above my head. Your pre-inverting wall drill is going to help so much!
Seen you for a long time on Chewy's channel. Didn't realize you had one of your own! Love those wall drills, thanks!
Hope you heal and get to enjoy bjj again Chad. All the best.

You look like your having so much fun when you do the scissors
If you're going to compete with chewy you better be good at inspirational monologues because chewy really knows how to target the thoughts I'm having. I'm drunk btw
TheLordAtreyus my monologues will bring a tear to the eye. Enjoy the booze! Haha
TheLordAtreyus I don't think Chad is trying to compete with Chewy. He can have and share his own good stuff! Keep it up, Chad!
TheLordAtreyus chewy speaks to me also 😂
Are you here for inspiration or techniques
