I feel it's fine to prioretize armor as a zerg since it benefits both melee and ranged units so you can switch more easily. And since armor upgrade kinda negates attack upgrade of opponent, your playing field is leveled up.
I think this is the case against Terran because marines have low DPS which can be negated harder by more armor. Against protoss unless they are doing mass Zealot (unlikely) I always go attack first
@@Tribuneoftheplebs There's a brood war build called Crazy Zerg where the zerg player immediately rushes for +2 armor and just swarms the terran player with mass lings and ultras (+chitinous plating) because marines can't keep up. Zerg players recently have been doing something similar in sc2 with ultra timings
Could you add the bracket and the name of the championship, please? I feel it would help to follow matches and cups... just a suggestion, awesome cast as always

And how much does armor help against banelings? Armor could make a big difference if it gives you better survival breakpoints. Thoughts?

As far as I know ByuN has an INFJ personality type. Which means he most likely tries to heavily play the opponent, has wide array of trained up strategies and will move between them intuitively. It also means that he is sometimes prone to not noticing things. Most likely he acknowledges that +1 infantry armor first is worse in most cases, but most likely thinks that either in certain situations or against certain opponents it is better, or that is suits his playstyle more. ByuN is my favourite SC2 player. Great series!

+1 armor doesn't do anything for marines against zerg
