@@theunityofknowledge2887 I'll make sure I keep the clothing up long and get better pictures. My studio is tiny so I need to figure that one out. 😂 I'll be sure to up the looks to 5 seconds at least though (I think I kept things up for 3 seconds which you are right is pretty short).
@@TheSigmaDadLife You can also use the images from the websites like you did in the video - using voice over with video of you wearing the clothing, the companies advertising, or the company store page is good. You can also do split screen where you have part of the screen showing the clothing and you talking on the other side of the screen. We come to this channel to see the clothes so that is the most important thing. Anyway thanks for taking the feedback I don't want to use any more of your time.

Did you think about showing the clothes for more than 2-4 seconds? I skipped the explanation of the first one and didn’t even realize I’d skipped one entirely until you said the other two options
I did but felt like 5 seconds felt too long. It seems like from the comments that 5 seconds would have been much better than the 3 or so that I did. I appreciate the feedback! 🙏🏼

I like the feedback. Would it have helped if Jon introduced me? I've loved being able to add my thoughts to the channel but don't want you guys to feel like you're in the wrong place or getting content you didn't sign up for.
@@TheSigmaDadLife yeah definitely. If you are the guy in the video, don’t take it personally. People, including me, are used to seeing same person in every video a channel posts. I really enjoy videos where Jon asks a couple of youtubers about their favorite jacket. I also don’t mind cooperations with other channels (one part of the video here and another one at the other channel). But if you click on a video and all of a sudden there is another guy without any explanation whatsoever, it’s just confusing and my first thought was that another channel ripped off his thumbnail design.
Hey guys, seeing a lot of undue negative comments so I want to throw some constructive criticism, I think what’s throwing people off is how different in style the two presenters are, Jon is generally laid back and speaks a lot more deliberate, this is kind of a hype video and feels breathless, which makes it feel a lot longer than 17 minutes. It’s certainly not about the content, the jackets are excellent picks, love the donegal car coat.

@@TheSigmaDadLife well my problem areas are my thighs. If it fits in my thighs, it usually looks ridiculous over my calves. So anything with the emphasis of high quality trousers, chinos or jeans that let us have big thigh people enjoy not looking like clowns.

I would have liked this video, quite a bit more if while you were talking about the products I was able to look at the products picture at the same time as you were describing them. I found that looking at you the majority of the time was way too distracted and took away alot from the product reviews.

$278 for a layering piece that "does not keep you super warm"? No thanks. I'll pass, especially when i can get the Everlane bomber for $88 that will keep me warm.
I can agree with that! Though that hoodie is my favorite and is merino wool nearly $300 can get you a really warm coat if you need one.
Never buying an American Giant again. I have the hoody, and the cuffs are way too tight. Uncomfortable when wearing a watch. Also, the cuffs shredded and started getting holes. Plus, the Gotham grey color faded.

Some of them I had to review without trying (I don’t have $3,000 worth of heavy coats) but I do own most of them and just couldn’t get great photos with my set up so I thought the best idea was to use the great photos the brand had. Happy to answer any questions I can!

Honestly I expected more maturity from this channels subscribers. Some comments here are embarrassing, ignore them. I enjoyed the video and agree with one of the commenters regarding seeing the jackets worn more. That being said my body type is way different than yours lol.

@@TheSigmaDadLife I just didn’t know anything about you and I had a lot of questions. What is your channel about? Why are you here? Why should I listen to your advice? I found out, but maybe others didn’t.
Maybe you could talk about different types of winter jackets first and then go on to the specific jackets you like. I would really like to see you wear the pieces you talk about. What would you style these jackets with? And the fit must be very important if you specialise in muscular style. Models wearing the clothes often looks very thin. Websites often give us a few low resolution pictures with a terrible background. High resolution footage is much appreciated. I also like to see a white model. It’s great that clothing brands hire models with different skin colours, it just doesn’t help me that much with determining how this piece of clothing would fit my light skin. I wish they used multiple models, but I often find what I need on UA-cam channels and reviews.
With high quality fabrics I like to see how it holds up after a wash. How does it compare to cheaper items? Why is the expensive option worth it? For example; merino hoodie might be more comfortable that cotton and polyester, but does it get a lot of pilling? Is it a lot of maintenance?
Maybe some stupid questions here, but what I mean to say is that I want a lot of information.
