The fact that Japan has these kinds of services makes life so convenient. Especially since, in Subaru's case, they're not "professional cooks" but literally "mama". I'd be so much more comfortable when discussing things. Where I'm from, such services don't exist so the idea of having a rented mama sounds like a good life since I grew up eating more homemade food than take outs
Edit: When I mentioned "these types of service" I don't mean by nanny, maids or housekeeper(who mainly work under long-term contracts)but more so the service to "rent" a "mother" or etc for a certain number of days/on alternative days

(Thank god both my parents are skilled with the kitchen otherwise I wouldn't be able to cook)
I just what to point out that I've seen people actually use "housewife" and/or "full time mother" for job applications, and made it work. It's not just listing that title, but how you use it to convince the hiring party that it involved actually useful skills for the position.
Examples I've seen convince that being a full time mother involves multi-tasking, time management, general management skills, quick problem solving, etc. I've also seen an example of a mother of 4, who also helped raise some neices/nephews. She basically related the whole experience to managing an entire office of workers. She was able to twist her real life skills as a mother to convince the employer that she could actually run a management position (she had a business degree too, but made minimal use of it due to full time motherhood).
It's not always about what professional skills you have, but how you can take any real skills you have and apply them to the particular job position. ("Professional Skills" vs "Applied Skills," I think it's called). Only issue nowadays, is that many resumes go through computer-based screenings before reaching the actual employer's hands. So you need to be creative in the resume writing in order to get past the computer filters.
Just thought it was interesting to state this!

I kind of wish they had services like that around here because I'd love to have someone cook me healthy meals and I just need to microwave and enjoy. They have delivery services like Freshly and the other ones where you have to cook the meals yourself but the first one is nothing like a home-cooked meal and the second one requires ME to do the cooking which somewhat defeats the point.
