Thank you for these videos. It helped me understand more about how parts operate. And helped me pass my pre trip inspection. Because of you I understand the importance of pre trip.
That is a Bendix air compressor, the unloader valves are inexpensive and are easily replaced once a year . With little modification remount air governor to the firewall . Install air tank remotes off the air tank to a convenient accessible area with 3/8” airlines with ball valves .
Yep, my governor is about120.00. If i ever have to rep!ece air dryer i might do a conversion and change the tank and all....i really really hate that set up
14:45 you see the valve above the electric connection, on my truck sometime it’s stick out and release all the air out while I’m driving do you know why it’s doing it
Not sure which valve you mean, but there is a purge valve...the one that spits..under the air dryer. if that doesn't close, the valve can be rebuilt. it is critical that the purge valve closes or it is an out of service violation
Mine looks the same its on a kenworth T700 but am having a hard time unscrewing....can the base break off if I keep yanking on it ...can I cut it in half and put DW40 in the middle?

Great video. It's very helpful. Specially when it's my first time replacing the cartridge. Thank you
Stuff blown in your eyes that’s why you wear safety glasses when working on or under your truck. All in all. Good info

The air dryer on your truck is abaut $400 plus if you brake the bolts to air tank then $$$ for the tank.
Good vid)

What's the large hose hanging down for? Is that connected to your crankcase breather tube?
Yes

Can you show a video hiw it's ran? I'm looking at changing mine, it's just straight down. I'd like to run it toward the rear more.
How do you get water out of air dryer
What camra gear do you use + editing software? Thnx
Right now I use a go pro hero 7. And edit with filmora 9. I'm not all that tech savvy, so when I learn more I'd like to upgrade
