The Broadway musical "Jekyll & Hyde" tells the story of Dr. Henry Jekyll and his work to find a psychological medical cure for his ailing father and other patients. After the society board declines his final plea to test his theory on a human subject, Dr. Jekyll is taken to a nightclub to phase out his troubles. There he meets the performer Lucy who sings this song in her act - this song inspires him to continue his work to test on the patient he never imagined to use…himself.
