Awesome lighting! I have cans in my cave and paid for those expensive brand color bulbs. I’m very interested in the section about the wiring to go from cans to this brand (as I’m not an electrician). Any additional links to see how it’s done would be excellent! Again love the room
Thanks they have a video on it on their site. It was literally just removing the old school can, remove the live, ground and neutral and connecting it inside this new lights metal box. Lastly just click the circular bottom to the ceiling and that's it.
So you could create a preset animation for the lights to flash, or have that streamer mode rotation in your team colors go off when your team scores or wins the game?
How did you get such a clean look for those nano leaf strips and wall mounted tvs? Your cable management is really clutch in how nothing looks cluttered I’m guessing all the power is fished behind the wall
Are you still recommending these lights? I have seen some of the reviews and lights are going bad. Im trying to decide whethee or not to buy these vs the Home Depot Comercial Elelectric Smart lights for half the cost. The on piece the Commercial lights won't have is the backlight which I really liked
Its been a year since you posted this video, I was curious if you have had any issues with the Lumary recessed lights over the long term? I have found a few comments about them burning out in 12-18 months. With you installing so many, wondering what your experience has been?
Is there a way to set an automation scene to turn on a group of lights AND the auxiliary lights as well? I'm finding that if I want the aux lights to be "red" and have the main light on at the same time, it will only turn on the last light command. For example: The script is set to turn on both Aux and Main but the app seems to limit sending both light-on commands and only allows the Aux or Main to work at one time. However, if I manually control a group or single light in the app, I can do it fine.
so I want to put 6 of these lights in my rental apartment. would the lights really need internet connection. or I can set it to white/warmwhite or whatever color and the people who rent it will deal with it instead of messing it up somehow. or do the lights really need internet in order to function properly?
@@gameroomtheater alright. so just gotta hope that the tenants dont play too much with the lights in a way they disconnect and they blink like crazy trying to connect with wifi/app?
Amazing. I’m planning out to finish my basement and these lights seem like a no brainer. My kids would love them.
Go for it!
Bro you gotta be a millionaire right?? Cuz ain't no way someone just has a awesome man cave like that.

Thx yes will do a detailed video on that soon! Cabling tips and tricks
These look great in person as well. Nice job! Did you do all the install yourself, or get an electrician to remove the cans and connect the boxes?
Thx it was easy to do myself I did a few but ran out of time and had my electrician do the rest. But it was easy removing the old school cans.
whats the screen saver at 0:38 blue/pink water
Would be great if you can sync it up to hockey games when they score

I have 30 installed for the last 2 years one did prematurely die no idea what happened but the rest have been going strong so yes I still recommend it
Do you have a preference to having the backlight or not?
Can you hook those to a dimmer switch? Can you turn off the lights from a light switch by chance?
Not a dimmer switch..a standard switch can be used it will just remember the last setting you had from the app..including brightness etc
@@gameroomtheater thank you for reply ! Now I know what I’ll be doing .

What happens when you go on a beer run? Seriously what shuts off? I’m thinking the ticker and all your lights what else?
Every single thing except the slot machine, I can't put it on a smart switch as cuases a full reset.
Ya I’m having the same problem. If they made an open protocol hub or something. Well I’m going to start next week making your movie poster screen.
Is the regular light RGB also or just white?
You can control the brightness to be whatever Kelvin you want actually to customize it you can make it as yellow as you want or as white as you want
Can you turn the main light a different color?
Yes, from daylight cool white, etc..along with brightness

It will remember the last state you set with the app. Then can turn on or off with regular ssitch
